Editing

Our footage

At the beginning process of editing we has to upload all of out footage and upload it to the Apple Mac. We use a programme called final cut which we are all very familiar with as we used it

last year to produce of film opening.

This is where we place all the footage and organise into order.

This is what it began to look like once we started to put it into order.

This tool bar is what we use to cut and blade a footage together.

Once we had our footage in order and cut down to different shots we then begun to add in music. Eimontas used the a different programme to produce the music. We chose to make our own music as we could not find any music

that would suit our short film. So Eimontas begun to produce his own soundtrack with simple beats that would suit the tone of our short film.

Music and soundtrack has now been added.

We then begun to cut the music down to the areas that it was needed and overlapped it to go with the editing and the storyline of the film. When it was doing quick cuts back and forth to the young girl and thugs life.

Music We worked out each cut when it changed back and fourth to each life, to help to know when to but put each beat in, eg if it was the girls life it would be more upbeat than the thugs.

We choose what type for instrumental sound we wanted and what would go together.
