           Message from CEO 

Dear Colleagues:

We have embarked on a new journey with the beginning of the year 2012. At this juncture it is critical that we do all we can in order to finish strong and position ourselves for success in the year 2012. It is imperative that we continue to deliver for our customers as efficiently and as effectively as possible while maintaining very strong cost controls.

On a positive note about 2011 I would like to mention our tie up with DHL (Aero Logic) which was a great add on to our existing portfolio. Continuous improvement is now necessary with good communication between everyone required. We must all work as one team to reach the goals set ensuring our service level agreements are met and exceeded. Each and every one of us has a role to play and we must all ensure we do this to the best of our ability.

We have plans and initiatives in place to elevate MABB to even higher levels of growth and success in the year 2012 and beyond. We have the infrastructure and facility in place to grow to the next level. More importantly, we have the best team of motivated people in the Air Cargo business.

Thank you for everything you do for our customers and for each other. I look forward to a safe, successful and rewarding 2012 for all of us.

      You Reap what you sow…….. An elderly carpenter was ready to retire. He told his employer-contractor of his plans to leave the house-building business to live a more leisurely life with his wife and enjoy his extended family. He would miss the paycheck each week, but he wanted to retire. They could get by.

The contractor was sorry to see his good worker go & asked if he could build just one more house as a personal favor. The carpenter said yes, but over time it was easy to see that his heart was not in his work. He resorted to shoddy workmanship and used inferior materials. It was an unfortunate way to end a dedicated career. When the carpenter finished his work, his employer came to inspect the house. Then he handed the front-door key to the carpenter and said, "This is your house... my gift to you."

The carpenter was shocked!

What a shame! If he had only known he was building his own house, he would have done it all so differently.

So it is with us. We build our lives, a day at a time, often putting less than our best into the building. Then, with a shock, we realize we have to live in the house we have built. If we could do it over, we would do it much differently.

But, you cannot go back. You are the carpenter, and every day you hammer a nail, place a board, or erect a wall. Someone once said, "Life is a do-it-yourself project." Your attitude, and the choices you make today, help build the "house" you will live in tomorrow. Therefore, Build wisely!

  MABB wins another Contract 

Effective 11th Oct, DHL commenced Bangalore-Leipzig freighter service, using B777-200F equipment. The new service originating in Bangkok and Singapore will be operated with five times weekly frequency by Aerologic, a JV cargo airline of DHL Express and Lufthansa Cargo.
