GAGNE’S 9 EVENTS OF INSTRUCTION
Guide for planning and conducting instruction uses media. It has a six steps represented by the acronym in its title that describe a set of tasks central to be informed selection and use of technology.

It is commonly used by instructional designers. ADDIE model is at the very core of instructional design and is the basis of the instructional design.

Evaluation
The model views instruction as an entire system, focusing on the interrelationship between context, content, learning, and instruction.

DICK AND CAREY MODEL
Dale’s cone shows the average retention rate for various methods of teaching. The Further you progress down the cone, the greater the leaning and the more information Is likely to be remembered by the learner. It is also recommends that when choosing an instructional method, it is important to remember that involving students in the process strengthens knowledge retention.
Classified as an instructional theory because it seeks to describe the Condition under which can intentionally arrange for the learning of
specific performance outcomes. Gagne’s instructional
theory has 3 major elements, first, the taxonomy or
classification of learning outcomes. Second, it purposes
particular internal and external conditions necessary for achieving these learning outcomes.
And lastly, it offers nine events of instruction.
Gagne’s model is very simple. It is designed for system wide curriculum. One of the strengths of this model is that the design is focused on front end analysis with the learner in mind.
