According to health Ministry, India-Over 16,000 students suicided in the last three years.

Out of every three cases of suicide reported every 15 minutes inIndia, one is committed by a youth in the age group of 15 to 29.

Every 90 minutes a teenager tries to commit suicide in India.

Suicide due to failure in Examination

According to a 2007 estimate, 45 %of suicides involve people between age15 and 29. National Crime Records Bureau (NCBR)

In 2006, 5,857 students or 16 a day committed suicide across India due to exam stress. Times Of India; March,2008

95-100 people commit suicide in India every day and of these a whopping 40% are in the adolescent age groupCNN-IBN Report, Jan 13 2010

Considering all these view, the present education system comes out to be a source of stress and Burden on students..

We (Teacher) Have to find a Way to Resolve these conflicts in students and lead them to a better development and provide better life experiences.

Peace is a Multidimensional aspectEconomics:Peace is the eradication of poverty. It is the economic wellbeingness of people.

Politics: Peace is the outcome of democracy. Peace results from good governance.

Anti-military: Stop war and there is peace.

Law: Peace is law and order.

Social harmony: Resolve conflicts between diverse groups. Integrate such groups together through fair distribution of justice.

Peace Education- PEACEIn Peace-Education, Peace is a subject in Syllabus which increases burden on student instead of providing them peace. Education for Peace Education for peace calls for a significantreduction, not an increase, in curriculum load

In Education For Peace, peace becomes the shaping vision of education.

This implies a paradigm shift in the totaltransaction of education.

Peace embodies the joy of living. Learning, from the peaceperspective, has to be a joyful experience.

Value education is subsumed in education forpeace, but is not identical with it.

Education for peace calls for a liberation of learning from the confines of the classroom and its transformation into a celebration of awareness enlivened with the delight of discovery.

WAYS TO inculcating peace in students

Improve the quality of teaching and learning process in the classrooms by introducing new methods such as participatory learning, through staff development and supervision program.Be a role model

What I teach is what I know and what I educate is what I am.

Set a period at least once a week in the class to voice and express students problems related to learning and other needs with the class teacher. Take prompt action to address their problems and needs.

Practice relaxation exercises, meditation or short energizing physical games and activities when the teacher feels students are beginning to show restless behavior.In a broad sense
