next year and continuing to cultivate similar events with the Mission Command Train-ing Program (MCTP). Subse-quently, students began the Anticipating the Future (ATF) Course. This is the last module in

the course before executing comprehensive exams and the Capstone exercise.

As the sentiment goes "we're all in this togeth-er" and with that being the case, we understand a lot of us are finding our-selves in the unique posi-tion of being stay at home parents with stay at home kids. Therefore, Army U want-ed to share some great on-line resources found to help those who might find themselves in need of creative ideas.

Military OneSource, (https://www.militaryonesource.mil/coronavirus), provides valuable re-sources covering every-thing from how best to practice resiliency and the importance of establishing routines as well as home schooling tips. ChildMind.Org, (https://childmind.org/article/supporting-kids-during-the-covid-19-crisis/),

gives great insights and recommendation on how best to assist a child in coping with COVID-19 effects. Fox4 News out of Kansas City, MO, (https://fox4kc.com/news/50-activities-for-your-kids-during-stay-at-home/), posted free "stay at home activity" sugges-tions to help bust boredom during this away from of school time. Good luck parents! You got this.

The School for Command Preparation completed the most recent Command Team Spouse Development Program courses on 6 Mar 2020. Among the presentations during the one week course were Gen. James C. McConville, U.S. Army Chief of Staff and Mrs. Maria McConville, Sergeant Major of the Army Michael A. Grinston, the Surgeon General of the Army, the IMCOM Commanding General, and a host of local volunteer spouses who offered their wisdom and experience.

On 13 Mar 2020, AMSP stu-dents completed the MAGTF Staff Training Program (MSTP) Exercise. Special thanks are due to the Senior Retired Officers (SROs) that made this exercise realistic and relevant to the students. We are looking to continue this partnership with MSTP

Army University’s Very Important Professionals

ACCESS: MSG Janna Escude, Senior Enlisted Advisor with Mr. Jayson Dodge, POI Review and Training Developer, spearheaded the development of the NCOPD Credentialing Lesson Plan. AMSC: Dr. Dave Quisenberry and Mr. Dave Duckett create and implement the Information Dominance Continuing Education for Senior Leaders Course, as first in the history of our Army. CGSS: -MIL: LTC Lennie Sloat (DDE) planned, coordinated, and executed the TASS FDP-2 and most successful TACM from 5-7 MAR. -CIV: Mr. Steve Rosson was instrumental in the success of the recently completed EXERCISE EAGLE OWL with UK De-fense Academy Intermediate Command and General Staff College. Dean of Academics: Dr. Prisco Hernandez, Acting Director, CGSC Office of Degree Programs, responsible for review and approval of 345 monographs and theses for Master's degrees (159 for SAMS, 160 for CGSS, and 26 for WHINSEC). DSPP: -MIL: MAJ William "Casey" Baker (AUP) for outstanding work in building, uploading, and getting the Military Historian Instructor Couse fully approved by TRADOC in only seven months and part of the Training Development Capability. -CIV: Ms. Diane Jenkins, Information Technology Specialist; Mr. Tyler Gross, Computer Scientist; and Mr. Edward Eck, Instructional System Specialist, (all DDL) for developing the TRADOC Community Resource Guide App. NCOLCoE & USASMA: Mr. Carl Carlson a curriculum developer, serves as the Training Development Capabilities (TDC) Administrator, resi-dent SME, and facilitator/instructor. He provides technical assistance and guidance to users throughout NCOLCoE, plus writes curriculum for the Commandants Pre-Command Course (CPCC), Basic Leader Course (BLC), and Common Core for ALC and SLC. He facilitates every CPCC and helps educate newly assigned NCOA Commandants on the TDC. SAMS: -MIL MAJ Brad Hollingsworth, AMSP student, was selected to present his monograph ("About an Oath: The Mississippi National Guard at the Battle of Ole Miss”) at the Pittsburg State University, Kansas Association of Historians. -CIV Dr. Robert Davis, ASP3 Director, completed site visit to the University of Texas, Austin. He met with several pro-fessors in the Government and History Departments and LBJ School for Public Policy, all strong supporters of ASP3. SCP: Mrs. Kelly M. Schneider for managing numerous student deferments and re-enrollment requests from numer-ous students affected by COVID - 19 travel restrictions. Her untiring efforts enabled SCP's ability to support our stu-dents and scheduled courses. WHINSEC: SFC Moran (NCOA) fulfilled duties as Deputy Commandant for two weeks while completing all of his as-signed tasks as operations sergeant, and still managed to complete 21 more platform hours as a primary instructor .
