Laxmi, R/o Calicut, South Andaman who studied upto Class IV only. Laxmi grew up with the desire to learn some work which would enable her to earn a livelihood. Her husband who is an auto driver helped her in making her dreams become a reality. He guided her to learn the work of manufacturing of hollow blocks by working in a private firm. Narendra Kumar, Director General (NIRDPR), Hyderabad inaugurated the DG (NIRDPR) inaugurates Certificate Programme on Risk Based Internal Audit in Rural Development Programmes programme in the presence of Shri. Suneel Anchipaka, Secretary (RD/ Panchayat), A&N Administration, Shri. Shashi Bhushan, Director CIARD/ Director (FM&FA), NIRDPR. A team of resource persons of CIARD from NIRDPR shall impart training to the officials identified for Internal Audit Unit of the Department. The Govt. of India has been implementing various schemes to help the poor people of the rural areas to come out of poverty trap. Sufficient fund is being released by the Center and State which has to be utilized as per specific guidelines issued under the schemes. About 73 Food Business Operators of the adjoining areas visited the mela. The FSSAI's initiative of 'Eat Right India' Food Licensing & Registration Mela held at Bathubasthi to facilitate new FBOs 514 FBOs/employees of South Andaman District trained & certified through FSSAI empanelled training partners theme of the mela was to facilitate new FBOs in obtaining license/ registration certificates through the online portal of FSSAI. Food Safety Officers explained in detail about the procedures for uploading online applications, documents which are required to be uploaded along with License/Registration application form. Remittance of License fee through online were also explained in detail to the visitors. Nine Registration Certificates and one License were issued on the spot to the applicants.
