It’s hard to believe as I write this in July for our final Education catalogue of the year that we are already well down the path of discussing requirements with schools for 2018. I’m more excited about the type of discussions we are having with schools now than ever before. Of course we’re having the usual discussion with schools around their device program and any infrastructure projects that may be on the horizon for 2018, however it’s the conversations around engaging students and empowering the educators that really seem to be driving the conversations more so now than ever.
Our Professional Learning consultant, Karen Pastro, has been integral in many of these conversations and if you haven’t already spent some time with Karen I would certainly encourage you to contact her to have a discussion about where your roadmap is taking your classrooms.
As CompNow is now also a Surface Hub Reseller & Integrator, we are seeing an increased demand for integrated audio and visual solutions. This being the case I’m very excited to have recently brought on board Ben Sly as our National AV & UC Technology Manager.

He has worked in small, medium and large corporations, in which time he has amassed experience in all aspects of IT management and customer service. John has a passion for ensuring that the customer’s experience is the best it can be.
John has extensive experience in voice, IP telephony and data solutions. He has rolled out solutions for companies with as little as three employees to those with several thousand.
