Morgan Edwards is a recently graduated Designer with an unbridled passion for logos, branding and photography. For thirteen years he has been designing uniforms and logo sets for both NHL brands as well as his own creations. His work has been regularly featured on the curated design blog Icethetics to critical acclaim. This obsession with hockey branding led him to pursue a career in Graphic Design. His love of the Canadian outdoors & photography has provided him with an extensive library of inspiration and design assets. He uses this library to assist in freelance work for clients as well as create artwork for his own enjoyment. He is currently employed as a part time, Graphic Designer and is looking to make it a full time career. He is eager to learn more about the business he loves and expand his skill set. NEWDOG PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS OCT 2016 to PresentGraphic Designer, Shop Assistant, Driver, Shipper and Receiver

• Contributed Graphic Design skills to the branding of Newdog and its three divisions. Ensured all fonts, images, and colour swatches were consistent.• Created various promotional items including web assets, Flyers, and Hang-Tags • Selected high-quality images to represent garments and promotional products. Used Photoshop and Illustrator to make images suitable for print and the web.• Responsible for Quality Control of all silk-screened garments. Made sure no mistakes, holes or unwanted ink smudges were on any shipped products. Ensured all garment inks were properly cured when leaving the dryer. Checked ink temperature regularly with a laser thermometer.• Made sure all outgoing garments were properly folded and packaged.• Frequently updated the prices of various promotional products & garments on the Newdog website. Spoke with various suppliers on the phone to ensure catalog and web prices were correct.• Created a database of all silk-screen inks in the shop indicating their respective name, code, colour block, size, and quantity. • Assisted in the cleaning, coating (emulsion) and upkeep of all silk-screens.• Responsible for deliveries and pick-ups.
