THIS WORK IS INSPIRED BY THE FEELING OF BEING A TARGET OF A SOCIETY THAT SEEMS SHAPING THE NEEDS AND THE DREAMS OF EACH INDIVIDUAL BY INDICATING THE OBJECTS OF DESIRE.IT TALKS ABOUT A LOSS OF IDENTITY INTO A STREAM OF ADVERTIZINGS AND FALSE DIRECTIONS.IDENTITY BECOMES THE BRAND, THE BRAND SHOWS THE IDENTITY.
THE DRAWING IS AN INTERPRETATION OF A PICTURE FOUND RANDOMLY ON THE NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC MAGAZINE DEPICTING THE SUFFERENCE OF THE CIVILIANS DURING AND AFTER THE NAGORNO-KARABAKH WAR (FEBRUARY 1988-MAY 1994), AZERBAIJIAN.
The Pussy Riot case caused a worldwide wave of protests against the verdict. The pictures below were taken at one of such protests in Edinburgh, August 2012..
FREETORIOT Three members of Punk feminist protest band Pussy Riot have been found guilty of
hooliganism motivated by religious hatred in a Moscow court after their performance in February inside a Russian Orthodox cathedral . Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, 23, Maria Alekhina, 24, and Yekaterina Samutsevich, 29 were sentenced to two years in prison - the minimum sentence for such an offence open to the courts. In sentencing the judge argued that bands' feminist beliefs were part of encouraging religious hatred. There were protests outside the courts and world chess Grand Master, turned politician Gary Kasparov was arrested along with opposition politician, Sergei Udaltsov. Amnesty and Human Rights watch have both condemned the verdict whilst the Russian Orthodox church has called on the government to show "mercy".

THE BEEF INDUSTRY HAS CONTRIBUTED TO MORE AMERICAN DEATHS THAN ALL THE WARS OF THIS CENTURY, ALL NATURAL DISASTERS, AND ALL AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENTS COMBINED. IF BEEF IS YOUR IDEA OF “REAL FOOD FOR REAL PEOPLE” YOU’D BETTER LIVE REAL CLOSE TO A REAL GOOD HOSPITAL.NEAL BARNARD
