This meeting was call to order by President Joan Kilby. “My Country ‘tis of Thee” was sung and the Pledge of Allegiance was recited. The Invocation
was delivered by Martha Colaresi. There were 15 Kiwanis members in attendance.

Good to see everyone. A 2nd Happy Dollar because I am grateful we don’t Have to clean up after the buffalo garden Martha Colaresi - $2 – one for the Quinnipiac Watershed Association who gave us a volunteer award last night and a 2nd dollar for Joanne Grabinski who Works behind the scenes to help us do our job better and that is Joanne. Joanne was also award a cash award from Kiwanis for all the work she does for us. Cindy D’Agostino - $2 – Merry Christmas and one for Pauline Bob Gollnick - $1 – Merry Christmas Karen Roesler - $1 – with everyone a happy and healthy holiday season, but I also wanted to share that Brian Cyr had presented a letter explaining what Our support would be used for. They will use the funds to prepare for many events this winter and spring and those include the production of Mama Mia Winter Percussion and color garden, performance trip to Walt Disney World, and a jazz trip to Lincoln Center. Pauline Tiezzi - $2 – I was caught by surprise that I’m not a member anymore. I had to make a decision to leave because I am leaving to reside in Italy by March 1st Joan Kilby - $1 – for this luncheon and the great program we had here. Bob Meister - $2 – Maloney students. They were very, very good. To wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

What’s Happening:
Last evening Joan Kilby, Karen Roesler and Martha Colaresi attended the Quinnipiac Watershed
Association meeting during which the Kiwanis Club of Meriden was awarded a certificate for our many years of volunteering to clean-up the Butterfly
and Bea Garden. Thanks to all who participate in this service project.
Bob Gollnick announced that the Kiwanis Club of Meriden netted $4,031.38 for the Cow Plop this year.
Announcements: Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army is Dec. 14th. Michelle has already sent out the Sign-Up Genius, so please give of your time for this worthy cause.
Carol singing at the nursing homes will be December 19th. We’re going to the Bradley Home, Kensington Village and we’re going to visit Maureen
Bilger at the Baptist Homes.
Our Holiday Party has been confirmed to be January 12th at the Club house at Winding Brook.
The mid-Winter conference is March 13-15th in Mansfield, MA if anyone would like to attend.
The International Convention will be in June in Indianapolis, IN
