What does it do?
Modern vehicles are equipped with a stability control system like ESP, DSC, VDC
They look for any perceived deviation from a cars' "ideal" path like oversteer or understeer. Use
selective braking of individual wheels to take control.
Great idea and a good safety feature but too intrusive for racing or track work.
Stability and Traction Control systems are part of the cars character, not just safety.
They can be dumbed down but NOT turned off. That dashboard button DOESN’T turn off the stability
control system.
