Symptoms of Diabetes
Diabetic diet is the diet, prepared for the people that are having diabetes mellitus.
This diet is rich in dietary fibers, especially the soluble fiber and it needs to be low
in fat and low in sugar also. The advised total calorie intake from carbs generally
ranges between 40 to 65%, but recommended fraction can vary from 16 to 75%.
This balanced diabetic diet will build up your energy and improve your mood
along with regulating diabetes.

Early Morning:
• Fenugreek seeds with 1 cup of water
• 1 cup of Sugar free Tea
• 2 Marie biscuits or whole grain biscuits

• 50 gm of curd

Lunch Time:
• 1 medium bowl of salad 10 minutes before lunch

•Salad ten minutes before dinner
• 1 Lauki vegetable
• 2 small size chapattis with no oil
• 1 cup of curd
Late Night:
• 1 cup of Skim Milk without sugar
Sugar: This includes fruit juices, sucrose, beverages, bakery products
etc.
Starch: Avoid potatoes, rice etc.
Grains: flour, pasta, bread, crackers, cakes etc.
Trans fat, hydrogenated oils: corn and vegetables.
Cereal
Legumes: peanuts, beans
Pasteurized milk
High Carbohydrates fruit: banana, pineapple.
High carbohydrate vegetable: potatoes

Drinks: water, unsweetened tea, coffee
