“MINI” Showroom Ljubljana, Slovenia


MINIShowroomTheclientwasintheprocessofbuildinganewcarshowroombutneededatemporarysolutionintheshort-termthatwouldpresent and personalize the concept and values of the Minibrand. The architecture of building was developed using thevalues and image and vehicle design as a foundation for theconstruction.

Trimo modular units were flexible, elegant and rapid inconstruction to fulfill needs and demands for this temporaryshowroom for the new Mini car. Six units were connectedinto one promotional area with glass walls and Mini bannersarrangedaroundthetop.

The final result was an astonishing solution incorporatingtheconceptoftheMinibrandanditsdesignsimultaneously.

It lies on the motorway junction in the Dettelbach /Mainfrankenpark motorway services. Designed as a 2-starmotel, the complex offers modern, practical rooms, idealforarestfromtheroad.

FacultyofMedicineLjubljana,SloveniaThe old Austro-Hungarian building, which has had manyowners over the years, is the location of the Faculty of Medicinein Ljubljana. Due to its unique architecture and need forexpansion a modular solution for the extension within thealreadyspaciousatriumwaschosen.

The extension was implemented in three storeys andconnected to the faculty building via a bridge. The modernminimalistic secondary façade coating ensures an aestheticupgradetotheexistingarchitecturalenvironmentandprovidesacontrastiveconnectionofbothstories.

The execution of the project took only 45 days and todaychildren enjoy the pleasant playing environment withinspacious classrooms (a height of more than 3 m) and terracesdressed in wood. The secondary façade envelope proved to havelow energy building characteristics too. Also of benefit, thekindergartenwasconstructedtoabudgetlowerthanistypicalforanaverageSlovenekindergarten.

An innovative approach by designers uses the façade interfaceas a large creative board with magnetic labels. The appearanceof the kindergarten dynamically changes every day andcombinesmoderndesignwiththecreativityofachild.

In the shortest of time ŠkofjaLoka was faced with the problem of having to secure spacefor more than 150 children. Thewell-furnishedkindergartenhasspaciousplayroomswithterracesaswellasallthenecessaryauxiliaryrooms.Theadditionalfaçadecoatingprovidesenergyefficiencyandan idealclimatewithouthavingtoinstallairconditioning.

Fujairah Free Zone is a growing business hub for investorsacrosstheglobe.Asapartoftheirserviceexpansion,ourclientFujairah Free Zone authority decided to erect three G+2 officebuildingsatitsmainentrance.

Atotalof350Trimomodularunits,withapproximately5200m2area has been used to make 150 spacious offices in 3 buildingsarranged in a “U” shaped. Our client was so happy with themodular concept and fast track assembly of Trimo’s modularbuildings they have subsequently given us an order for anothertwo buildings, again in the Free Zone.
