Eindhoven, December 2009 L.S. Bamboo floors Attached to this article there are pictures of a 40 year old, majestic and very large house in the village Best, Holland, which has been completely stripped and has been redesinged prestigiously and classically by an Italian architect. Large parts of the floor – approximately 200 m2- are equiped with solid sidepressed Caramel Bamboo floors from Moso, 15 x 69 x 960 mm, and have been brought to the right colour afterwards. All of this was done by Osbe Parket bv in Eindhoven. A very interesting detail is that all floors are installed on top of an underfloorheating system, which is the main heating system in the house. In order to prevent the existence of gabs in the floor, there was chosen for the Elastilon system. Elastilon Strong 3 mm to be exact. This causes a great elastic cohesion between the floor boards, which makes the cause of gabs impossible. Would the floor be glued down in this case, the boards out of which the floor exists, would have been able to expand and contract separately from each other, and clear gabs should have appeared on the pictures. The staircases were also made by Osbe Parket Eindhoven and exist out of solid Bamboo, 40 mm thick. They are installed with Elastilon Lock. Elastilon bv Osbe Parket bv Fred van Bers
