1 ABOUT YOUR GAUGE

The Elcometer 407 Statistical Glossmeter is a handheld gauge for meassurfaces from matt to mirror finishes. The Glossmeter measures gloss at thand 85°. The gauge can perform statistical analysis of gloss readings storeThe Elcometer 407 contains a light source, a light detector and a system oilluminates the specimen at a set angle of incidence. The light detector at thlight reflected from the specimen. Gloss is computed and displayed ireflectance (%) can be calculated from this. The gauge is calibrated using a certified calibration tile. The Elcometer 407 is supported by Novo-Soft™ software - a data cable coUSB port. The gauge is powered by internal dry cell batteries.
