1. CODES AND STANDARDS:
1.1. ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION SHALL ADHERE TO THE 2011 EDITION OF THE NATIONALELECTRICAL CODE (NEC) AND ALL APPLICABLE STATE AND LOCAL CODES ANDORDINANCES.

2.3. WITHIN 30 DAYS AFTER WORK IS COMPLETE, THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALLSUBMIT TO THE OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE A SET OF DRAWINGS SHOWING"AS-BUILT" CONDITIONS THAT SHALL INCLUDE ALL MODIFICATIONS AND ADDITIONSTO THE ORIGINAL DESIGN.
2.4. WITHIN 30 DAYS AFTER WORK IS COMPLETE, THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALLSUBMIT ALL INSTRUCTION MANUALS, MANUFACTURES DRAWINGS, AND ANY OTHERLITERATURE SUBMITTED WITH CONTRACTOR FURNISHED EQUIPMENT.
3. MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT:
3.1. THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL PURCHASE AND INSTALL ALL EQUIPMENTAND DEVICES AS SPECIFIED ON THE DRAWINGS AND IN THE SPECIFICATIONS. THISINCLUDES ALL BASIC MATERIALS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE PROJECT THAT ARENOT SPECIFICALLY CALLED OUT IN THE SPECIFICATIONS: CONDUIT FITTINGS,JUNCTION BOXES, HANGERS, ETC.
3.2. ALL EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS SHALL BE NEW AND WHERE POSSIBLE OF USMANUFACTURE. ALL EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS SHALL BE LISTED BY THEUNDERWRITERS LABORATORIES, INC., AND SHALL BEAR THEIR LABEL WHEREPOSSIBLE. ALL MATERIALS AND PRODUCTS SHALL BE OF THE LATEST DESIGN ANDCURRENTLY IN PRODUCTION. OBSOLETE COMPONENTS SHALL NOT BE USED.
3.3. THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROPERLY PROTECTING THEEQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS AT ALL TIMES FROM THE WEATHER OR ANY OTHERADVERSE ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS. THIS RESPONSIBILITY SHALL INCLUDE ANYEQUIPMENT THAT THE CONTRACTOR HAS PURCHASED OR OWNER SUPPLIEDEQUIPMENT THAT HAS BEEN TURNED OVER TO THE CONTRACTOR FORINSTALLATION.
3.4. THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR RE-PAINTING,REPAIRING, OR REPLACING ANY EQUIPMENT OR DEVICE THAT IS DAMAGED PRIORTO THE FINAL ACCEPTANCE TEST DUE TO CONTRACTOR NEGLIGENCE AT NO COSTTO THE OWNER.
3.5. THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM THEOWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE PRIOR TO SUBSTITUTING ANY ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENTFROM THOSE SPECIFIED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS OR ON THE DRAWINGS.
4. EXECUTION OF WORK:
4.1. THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS,EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, SERVICES, SUPERVISION, PERMITS, LICENSES, INSPECTIONFEES, TRANSPORTATION, AND MISCELLANEOUS EXPENSES NECESSARY TOCOMPLETE THE CONTRACT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DRAWINGS ANDSPECIFICATIONS.
4.2. THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL FIELD VERIFY ALL INFORMATION PRESENTEDIN THESE DRAWINGS PRIOR TO STARTING THE WORK. THE ELECTRICALCONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY REWORK RESULTING IN FAILURETO FIELD VERIFY EXISTING CONDITIONS OF THE JOB SITE AT NO ADDITIONAL COSTTO THE OWNER.
4.3. THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL INSTALL ALL MATERIALS IN A NEAT ANDWORKMANLIKE MANNER AND ALIGN, LEVEL, AND ADJUST EQUIPMENT FORSATISFACTORY OPERATION.
4.4. THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE TO REWORK THEINSTALLATION OF ELECTRICAL ITEMS THAT DO NOT ADHERE TO THIS ELECTRICALDESIGN AT NO EXPENSE TO THE OWNER.
4.5. ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL PERFORM THE WORK IN A SAFE MANNER ANDSHALL AT ALL TIMES COMPLY WITH ALL OSHA, OWNER, STATE, AND LOCAL SAFETYPROCEDURES.
4.6. THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PATCHING, PAINTING,REPAIRING, OR REPLACING OF ALL WALLS, CEILINGS, OR OTHER BUILDINGELEMENTS WHICH ARE DAMAGED OR DISTURBED AS PART OF THE INSTALLATION OFELECTRICAL WORK.
4.7. THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE THE MOUNTING OF CONDUITON OR NEAR MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT TO MAINTAIN ACCESS TO REMOVABLESERVICE PANELS AND TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.
4.8. THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE WITH OTHER TRADES TOENSURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT INSTALLED UNDER THIS CONTRACTMAINTAINS CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS OF THE NEC.
4.9. THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE THE ELECTRICAL WORK WITHTHE OTHER TRADES SO THAT THE WORK PROCEEDS WITH A MINIMUM OFCONFLICTS AND INTERFERENCE WITH OTHER TRADES. CONFLICTS RESULTING INREWORK THAT ARISE FROM LACK OF COORDINATION SHALL BE THERESPONSIBILITY OF THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR.
