More than 64,600 kms( world’s third-largest rail network). Largest passenger carrier and the fourth-largest rail freight
carrier in the world. Runs 12,617 trains, carrying over 23 Million passengers
daily and connecting more than 7,172 stations. Runs more than 7,421 freight trains, carrying about 3
Million Tonnes of freight every day. Comprises 63,870 coaches, more than 240,000 wagons and
