University-Industry Close Links• The College of Engineering at NTHU has established a very unique
industry-university cooperative program, called the Industrial Liaison Program (CoE-ILP, NTHU). The program regularly maintains 50~60 companies as its close partners in research and development.
• Part-time programs offered by the engineering school attract many students with industrial backgrounds and experiences.
• The Tze-Chiang Foundation of Science and Technology (an NTHU foundation) maintains excellent connections with industry and delivers numerous advanced technology training programs. It trains over 20,000 engineers annually. Tze-Chiang is well known for its ability to use fast-follow technology transfer techniques to keep engineers in the high-tech industry (e.g., semiconductor and opto-electronics) current and globally competitive. The fast-follow technique links NTHU research and lab breakthrough to industrial manufacturing process improvement.
• EBC works closely with CoE-ILP and Tze-Chiang to serve industry.

Unique Technology Management Program to Strengthen High-Tech Affiliations
• The Institute of Technology Management's flagship Techno-MBA program is inter-disciplinary and jointly offered by the Department of Quantitative Finance, the Industrial Engineering and EngineeringManagement, and the Institute for Science and Technology Law.
• The Institute of Technology Management is seeking international cooperation partners in the United States, Mainland China, and Europe to develop long-term relationships in cooperative research and program development.
• The Institute of Technology Management maintains strong cooperative relationships with high-tech industries, like Compaq, TSMC, and UMC.
• EBC faculties are co-listed and actively participate in Technology Management programs in research, education and outreach.

Global Cooperation and Partnership
• National Tsing Hua University has been building international connections with foreign universities in the United States, Mainland China, Japan, Australia, France, Sweden, and Hong Kong.
• National Tsing Hua University also cooperates with foreign research organizations such as IBM, Promatis (EBC sponsor), Synchronicity (EBC sponsor), Oracle (EBC sponsor).
