John Deere has created the family of MECA (Machine Electronics Common Architecture) controllers. These controller families have several size variants with a variety of ECU designs available in each package size. Software development support is provided by giving the OEM access to the John Deere Operating System (JDOS) suite of tools, training, and customer support. All of these products are manufactured in an automated work cell with repeatable quality controlled processes steps.
