Purpose
Electronic devices innovation grows rapidly in society today.
New innovations come out yearly.Human morals. How heavily we rely on Electronic today.
Key Terms
GamingSimulationCause and effectSystem behavior: is a universal laws that
the system would not be without it.
Computer/Desktop
Causes and effects- The majority of the provided list would not exist without computer scientists.
1.Internet, broadband, WWW (browser and html) 2.PC/laptop computers 3.Mobile phones 4.Email 5.DNA testing and sequencing/human genome mapping 6.Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) 7.Microprocessors 8.Fiber optics 9.Office software (spreadsheets, word processors) 10.Non-invasive laser/robotic surgery (laparoscopy) 11.Open source software and services (e.g., Linux, Wikipedia) 12.Light-emitting diodes 13.Liquid crystal display (LCD)
14.GPS systems15.Online shopping/ecommerce/auctions
(e.g., eBay)16.Media file compression (jpeg, mpeg, mp3)17.Microfinance18.Photovoltaic Solar Energy19.Large-scale wind turbines20.Social networking via the Internet21.Graphic user interface (GUI)
Simulation- A computer simulation is a simulation, run on a single computer, or a network of computers, to reproduce behavior of a system. The simulation uses an abstract model
Computer/Laptops
Laptops are commonly used in a variety of settings, including work, education, and personal multimedia.
A laptop combines the components and inputs as a desktop computer; including display, speakers, keyboard, and pointing device (such as a touchpad), into a single device. Most modern-day laptop computers also have a webcam and a mic (microphone) pre-installed.
Laptops are a diverse category of devices, and other more specific terms, such as ultra books or notebooks,
TV'sThen TV's would be big floor model TV's like a
piece of furniture with antennasTV back in the 70’s had a time frame you could
watch it from 6am to 12am then they would play the national anthem and it would cut off and you could no longer watch any programs
During the 80’s and 90’s the stopped the creation of floor model TV's they started making smaller TV's with bigger backs
When the year 2000 came TV's got bigger but still had big backs and they became more clearer they weren't as fuzzy looking. As years progressed they lost the big backs then became thin and were big without the big backs now we have TV's with built in Wi-Fi and 3d capabilities.
Game systemsIn 1972 the Magnavox Odyssey was released 3
years before widely popular Atari game consoleA total of 27 games distributed and 12 different
game cards were released for the Magnavox Odyssey.
In 1977 the widely popular Atari was released and then another version of the Atari was released in 1982.
1994 one of the biggest consoles over the last 30 years was released the very first PlayStation which is the 1st or 2nd best console on the market to this very day. Sony’s console is highly popular and sells millions of units around the world
Sony had the best consoles until the year 2001 a year after they released their 2nd console, Microsoft released their first console called Xbox then Microsoft revolutionized gaming by making an online feature available and they were the first to truly succeed at it. Which started a console war between Microsoft and Sony.
TV’s cause and effect
The cause and effect of the first TV's to the TV's we have now is the demand for entertainment. We no longer have a TV restrictions we have over a hundreds of channels and movies at our disposal.
Game systems cause and effect
The cause and effect of game systems is competition and lots of money spent on video games. In the 70’s the first game system had a total of 20 or 30 games at maximum. Now game systems have over hundreds of video games. Millions of dollars are spent on these game systems and video games as well as accessories and competitions.
microwave
Cause-Microwave ovens don’t make foods radioactive. They just heat them. Microwave ovens heat food by producing radiation which is absorbed by water molecules in the food. This makes the water molecules vibrate and produce heat, which cooks the food.
Effect- Microwave Innovations designs and builds telemetry transmitters, related supporting components, and systems for the Munitions, Aviation, and Space Launch elemetry programs.
Simulation-the microwave simulates a oven. Oven heat things as the microwave does also.
Airplane
Effects- speeds up transportation of people and goods allover the world.
Makes holidays in far off places a reality Allows exploration of places in accessible by land. Allows you to drop relief supplies to disaster areas. Allows evacuation of people. Brings the people of the world closer together Promotes business and commerce. Provides employment to a huge number of people Stimulates research and development Crash
Airplane
Simulations- A flight simulator is a device that artificially re-creates aircraft flight and the environment in which it flies, for pilot training, design, or other purposes.
It includes replicating the equations that govern how aircraft fly, how they react to applications of flight controls, the effects of other aircraft systems, and how the aircraft reacts to external factors such as air density, turbulence, wind shear, cloud, precipitation, etc.
Apple/Iphone
is a line of smartphones designed and marketed by apple inc. It runs Apple's IOS mobile operating system. The first generation phone was released on June 29, 2007.
There are seven generations of iPhone models, each accompanied by one of the six major releases of IOS
Development of what was to become the iPhone began in 2004, when Apple started to gather a team of 1000 employees to work on the highly confidential "Project Purple
Car/Audi
Audi has drawn up blueprints for a range of high-performance electric cars to help it take on its German rivals.
Sales of electric cars are expected to surge to 2.7 million globally by 2018 from 180,000 last year as more models come to market, battery costs fall and the number of charging stations grows, according to business consultancy Frost & Sullivan.
