At the bottom of the “Content” page there’s a link to RedShelf EBooks.Click on the link and the RedShelf EBooks page appear.

Click on your course to access the course content

Select the “Materials” drop down menu

Instructions on Opting Out

If you would like to opt out of the use of electronic course materials you must do so before the date and time published.This date is listed on the bookstore website, the Saint Paul College course registration page and the D2L course content page. Electronic textbooks through Saint Paul College average approximately ½ the cost of purchasing a new physical textbook in the bookstore or through major retailers online. If you are opting out because you learn best with a physical book, consider requesting a printed loose-leaf version from the publisher at a small additional fee. This option will be available after the course add/drop deadline.* If you choose to opt out of electronic course content you must purchase the physical textbook through another source. Saint Paul College will not be stocking physical textbooks for courses using electronic textbooks. *

Below are the instructions for opting out if you have determined that it is the best option for you:

In the RedShelf eBooks page on D2L you will see the wording “View course details to opt out of course materials”.Click the link to access the option to opt out of your electronic textbook for that course.

A gray link will appear that says “I want to opt out of access to all required materials for this course”
