MINI PROJECT on
ELECTRONICS COUNTER
Presentation Outlines
Introduction Components Used Block Diagram Circuit Diagram Working Applications Future Scope References
Motivation
Counting manually is boring and monotonous!
Objectives
To implement a counter that can count up to 10,000.
To automate current system of counting.
Introduction
This project focuses on building an effective counter using IR as a sensing element and and will be capable of counting from 0 to 9999. This circuit is designed using CMOS lCs, with advantages like: o Very low power consumption.o Wide supply voltage rangeo Good noise immunityo High package densityo High fan-out capability

Problems Faced
One of the major problem faced was because of floating pins which have different impact on software and hardware.
Due to usage of number of wires, noise effects the output to extent.
Understanding the concepts of negative and positive logic circuits.
Future scope
In real time, by using advanced sensors the distance between receiver and transmitter can be increased and can be useful to count heavy objects.
Using different sensors and technologies, we not only can increment the count of objects but can also decrement of no of objects going out.
