I would recommend Odisha the key reasons behind endorsing the state are: Puri Beach - One of the most famous beaches in India. In evening it comes alive. The beach offers memorable sunrise as well as sunset views. It is on the shore of the Bay of Bengal. It is known for being a tourist attraction. The beach is the site of the annual Puri Beach Festival, which is co-sponsored by the Indian Ministry of Tourism, the city of Odisha, The beach hosts sand art displays, including work by international award-winning local sand artist.
Chandrabhaga Beach - It is one of the peaceful beaches and a lovely place to be at with family and friends. The beach has religious importance as a seven-day fair in honour of Sun God. Devotees from all parts of the country come here to take a dip during the fair.
Sea bed at Chandipur Beach - It’s one of the most beautiful & popular tourist places in Orissa. Set on the coast of Bay of Bengal. You can witness the memorable sunset views & feel the great pleasure in writing your name in the sand. Walk along the waves or collect shells to take home. It is one of cherished memories of your holiday in Orissa. Chilka Lake - located 37 kms from Puri. It is Asia’s largest salt water lagoon, if you are an avid bird watcher, then this is the place for you, one can see many migratory birds especially flamingos. Not only this, one can also locate dolphins. Art and Architecture of the Udaygiri and Khandagiri Caves -Partially natural and partially man-made, the Udaygiri and Khandagiri caves are the landmark in Odisha. Situated in Bhubhaneshwar, these historic caves are ornately carved as to please the eyes of the onlookers. Udaygiri has a group of 15 caves while Khandagiri is an 18 caves complex. The caves are famed for its impeccable sculptures and reliefs and Brahmi inscriptions.

Pipli - Village near Puri, extremely popular for its amazing colourful appliqué work. Shopping at Pipli is one of the top things to do in Orissa. These exquisite art crates village scenes, flowers, animals, and even religious themes. Here you can get your hands on beautiful decorative items such as bags, garden umbrellas, lampshades, wall hangings, pouches, and wallets. The craftsmen of Pipli also make canopies for the annual Jagannath Yatra. A huge number of tourists visit this place to buy these stunning crafts. Bhitarkanika Wildlife Sanctuary- A scenic paradise for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts, this sanctuary is one of the most popular attractions in Orissa. The tranquil ambiance is a haven of colourful migratory birds, verdant mangroves, meandering rivers, beasty crocodiles, and cute turtles. It has around 55 mangrove species. The mangroves here have a huge population of saltwater crocodiles. There are as many as 215 bird species, including kingfisher, white bellied sea gull, hornbill, brahminy duck, etc. A treat for nature-lovers almost every tourist is left in awe of the sanctuary. Orissa State Museum, Bhubaneswar - All history buffs, this is the place for you. There are archaeological treasures from 6th century onwards. Yow will be amazed to find small rocks on which, incidents from Ramayana, Puranwere depicted. This museum will enlighten you about the rich heritage culture of our country.
Tribal Village of Odisha - State is home to as many as 62 tribal communities, which means it has the largest tribal population in the country. The tribal communities worship nature. They follow their own rules. The main source of livelihood is food gathering, hunting and fishing. Dance and music are an important part of Tribal communities. They have their own festivals, culture and food. Orissa tribes have high artistic skills such as ornament making, wall paintings, weaving and body painting. The nature-worshiping tribal’s are generally friendly. They open their homes and hearts for their guests. Jagannath Temple & Konark Temple - An important Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Jagannath, a form of lord Maha Vishnu located on the eastern coast of India, at Puri in the state of Odisha. The temple is an important pilgrimage destination. The Puri temple is famous for its annual Ratha yatra. The image of Jagannath is made of wood and is ceremoniously replaced every twelve or nineteen years by an exact replica. Konark Temple is located 35km from Jagannath Temple. We all have heard about this 13th century temple, which is dedicated to Sun God. The temple boasts of Kalinga architecture. Do hire a guide; you will hear some interesting stories about kalinga empire.
