About TRTITribal Research & Training Institute (TRTI) was established in 1962 & is located
in Pune.
Verification process is carried out as per the process laid out in MAHARASHTRA ACT No. XXIII of 2001 for SC, ST, DT (Vimukta Jatis), NT, OBC, SBC(Regulation of Issuance & verification of) Caste Certificate Act 2000.
One of the major objectives of the Institute are Verification Of Tribe Certificate issued to the Tribals Of Maharashtra State

• To validate the caste certificate (Direct validity, vigilance if required, hearing or showcase if required)
• To provide caste validity certificate if the details are found to be satisfactory

The web application is hosted on Maharashtra State Data Center
Hand holders(with IT skills) are hired at each of the 8 committees to help/guide/support the workforce on various technical issues.
Detailed study was conducted regarding Act, Rules and their implementation process
Expert committee meetings were held to understand the process
Rigorous testing was done to ensure that the functionality of software is as expected
Application Security Audit is conducted
Inputs were sought from Subject matter experts i.e. Jt. Commissioners, Dy. Directors and other key officials
Under the leadership and guidance of Secretary TDD & Commissioner TRTI, Software development approach was finalised
Agency was on boarded to develop a web based application

Strengthening IT Infrastructure
Field visits were conducted to each of the 8 committees to capture the existing IT infrastructure details.
IT Infra Need Assessment was conducted and following activities were taken up.

the committee offices They act as master trainers for assisting the
