ELLA ENCHANTED SCRIPT

Scene 1: Mother and baby Ella

Mother: Sleep well Ella. Thank you for being strong-willed as always. Sweet dreams my child.(will sing Ella a song and puts her down on the crib)

(Mother will eventually fall asleep and dreams of Ella's life)

Scene 2: Ella alone in the stage having her monologue

Narrator : Your child's story is a wonderful story of fairy tales. Fairy and tales as it says.

Different creatures it tells. A story with giants and dragons and elves, a story with creatures

that talks by themselves. There's romance and adventure along with the scenes. There are

wicked and nice guys in between. But this story is kind a different for a teen, nor for a child

that had no choice ever since.

Scene 3: Baby Ella, Mother, Mandy and Fairy Lucinda

(Baby Ella is crying, then Mother and Mandy will enter)

Mother: Oh, hush now dear. Mother's here. (carries the baby)

Mandy: What will I do? (will have her number/sing or dance)

Mother: She just needs a liitle mother care you know (winks at Mandy)

Mandy: Okay I get it. (focuses on the cloth near here and acts for using magic against the cloth

but it did'n work) Okay, fine. I knew I couldn't do this. I'm a house fairy after all.

Mother: Don't make too much drama Mandy, just give me the cloth please?

Mandy: (grabs the cloth and give it to Mother) Here you go. Oh please I just can't unde-

(a huge wind will pass by them saying ..)

Lucinda: (will come from the aisle and have her number/sing or dance) Hello Ladies! Hihihihi.

(Mother and Mandy will stare at each other for some time)

Mother and Mandy: LUCINDA ?!

Mother: Not of all fairies. It can't be! She gives the best gifts, right?

(Mandy will stare at her, a glare to be exact)

Mother: I know. She gives the least best gifts!

Mandy: No. I won't let that happen. Not if she'll be able to find the baby. (hids the baby at the

back of a curtain)

(Lucinda will come, she's still dizzy so walks unconsciously)

Lucinda: (shakes head) Woooaah! (looks at Mandy and Mother) So. Where's the baby?



Mandy and Mother will say in chorus

Mandy: out walking Mother: at her grandmother

(will look at each other)

In chorus again

Mandy: at her grandmother Mother: just out walking

Lucinda: You can't hide the baby.

(the baby starts to cry again)

Mandy: Oh. You're back early!

(Lucinda gets the baby)

Lucinda: Oh let me see. She's amazingly different, isn't she? Now, what gift suits you best,huh? Hmm, what's her name again?

Mother: (awkwardly speaks) Ella.

Lucinda: Ohh. Ella of Frell isn't she? But wait, she looks in the pink. (baby still cries) Hold on.

Hold on. I cannot concentrate please! (the baby still cries) Oh wait, will you stop? ELLA OF

FRELL, I GIVE YOU THE GIFT OF OBEDIENCE!(snap) Now, stop crying. (the baby stops) Good.

Now, sleep. (baby sleeps) Very good! Now, wake up! (baby wakes up) Oh! Excellent! Wonderful

isn't it?

Mother: No, it's terrible!

Mandy: Its' terrible when you do things you don't want to! Take it back!

Lucinda: Oh, did I forget to mention? I have a policy. No turning backs. (*sing a song*) But if

you don't want, I can turn her into a unicorn instead!

Mother: An unicorn?!

Mandy: NO! A .. Obedience is a wonderful gift! Terribly .. wonderful gift!

Lucinda: I know! And for that, you should thank me! I have given you the best and perfect child!

SCENE 4: Children at the park playing, Ella and Areida

Girl 1: Hey you earth children! Get out of here!

Girl 2: Yeah! You don't fit in, duh!

Girl 3: Exactly! Like, hello! Areida? What kind of name is that?! (pushes Areida) Nobody, as in no

one likes you here! Your ruining the atmosphere!

(Ella is already 8 years old, comes and helps Areida stand up)

Ella: I do love her here. She's wonderful!

Girl 1: Punch me!



(Ella punches the girl)

Girl 2 and 3: Did you see what Ella did? Terrible!

SCENE 6: Ella, Mother and Mandy talking

Ella: Can you tell me what exactly is happening to me?

Mandy: Ella. Listen ok? Your fairy, Lucinda, gave you her gift. And the gift she gave you, is the

gift of-

Ella: Obedience?

Mother: Exactly Ella. Exactly.

Ella: But, can't you just take it back? You're a fairy!

Mandy: Only a household fairy Ella. And only Lucinda can take the spell back.

Mother: Besides, we tried to convince her to take it back but she had her policy of no turning

backs. We're sorry Ella.

Ella: It isn't fair! This is not the life I want to.

Mandy and Mother: We know Ella. We understand.

Ella: I have to fight this tentative inclination from this spell. I have to do things the way I want

to!

SCENE 7: in a bedroom

Ella: Why now mother? What is your affliction? Oh please get well.

Mother: (s’miles) Listen Ella. Only I and Mandy know about your gift. We've never told your

Father about it.

Ella: But why -

Mother: Shh. And no one should ever know about this gift , okay? We don't want it to be used

against you.

Ella: Mother please -

Mother: Always remember, what anyone tells you to do, always evaluate yourself first Ella,

you're heart and mind is stronger and is somewhat unopen than any other spell. ( grabs her

necklace and give it to Ella) Take this and I'll always be with you.

(Ella will accept the necklace and eventually fell asleep)

::CHANGE SETTING; ELLA IS NOW A TEENAGER::

(plays a song)

SCENE 8: Ella is infront of a mirror



(Mandy enters the room)

Mandy: Uhm, Ella. Sorry to interrupt but you father wants to talk to you immediately.

Ella: What did I do this time?

Mandy: No, hold on Ella. He just want to speak to you.

Ella: Okay. Thank you!

SCENE 9: Ella and his Father talking

Ella: (stands up and goes around the room) What Father? You're married?! How come I didn't

knew about it? Oh please!

Father: Calm down Ella. Look, she has money. And she really wants my title so I've got no choice!

It's either get married or we'll sell the house. It will be a learning experience if we , isn't?

Besides, Dame Olga together with her two daughters will be a mother-like to you.

Ella: (sits down) A mother like? No one can replace my Mother!

Father: Calm down Ella. Relax! What I mean is , a experientially enhanced figure.

(Ella smiles and looks at her father)

Father: Look Ella. I'm sure you'll be the best of all friends.

SCENE 10: Dame Olga, Father, Hattie and Olive

(Olga, Hattie and Olive enters the stage, will have their number/ sing or dance)

Olga: Woah! Are you sure we are in the right address? There must be a horrible mistake!

(stares at the house like seeing a gross thing)

(Father goes out and welcomes Olga)

Father: My dear! Welcome to your new home. (Looks, at the back) And they must be your

daughters!

Olga: O yes. My intuitive, Hattie and my childlike, Olive.

(Hattie and Olive will bow forcely) (Ella comes out to the stage)

Olga: Oh, and you must be Ella.

Ella: Yes I am, pleased to meet you Madame.

Olga: Yes. (faces the father) The house looks wonderful, really! But If my memory serves me

right you said you live in a castle.

Father: (giggles) No Olga, it isn't a task because I said that a man's house is his castle.

(enters the house/exit)

SCENE 11: Ella, Hattie and Olive

Ella: So, hi! I'm Ella. And welcome to Frell! (happy muic plays)



(looks at what Hattie's doing)

Ella: Oh, what are those Prince pinups?

Olive: Hattie's the president of the Prince Char fans club.

(Hattie and Olive will have their famous give me five clap)

Ella: What? A fans club? Are you guys insane neither emotionally different? We all know that

Prince Char and his uncle are responsible for the segregation of the Kingdom.

Hattie: So? I don't care! He's my ideal guy! The man of my dreams! Most of all, he is physically

combustible! (then twirl around until bump into her closet) Wait a minute. Is this hutch, meant

to be my closet? (Ella nods) It's gross! My clothes needs more room than this. We'll have to see

yours instead!

Ella: What? I don't -

Hattie: Show it to us.

(Ella obeys immediately)

SCENE 12: At Ella's room

Hattie: It looks so pale. Isn't it Olive? It's so, oh well it's actually a passage restrictive.

(Hattie and Olive laughs)

(Hattie goes in to see more of Ella's closet)

Hattie: Oh, this is enough room. We just need to dispose some of your clothes and we'll be donewith it.

Ella: What? No! Get out from there!

Hattie: Step aside please!

(Ella steps aside immediately, Hattie will look at her then focuses on her necklace)

Hattie: Hey, what's that? It's different and unique!

Ella: Oh please, not this. It's my mother's.

Hattie: Can't you really give it? As a welcoming present?

Ella: No.

Hattie: Come on, hand it over.

(Ella obeys and the shock expression can be seen in her eyes. Hattie and Olive laughs)

Hattie: Your so sweet darling! You're so accommodating and a charm-free maiden huh!

(Ella rans to his Father and sees him fixing his collection of watch)

SCENE 14: At school



Ella: Elves, giants, ogres and humans used to exist in harmony, but when King Florian was killed

allegedly by an ogre, Sir Edgar saw it as an opportunity to exile all non-human creatures to the

forest, keeping their land for himself.

Teacher: Very intimate speech Ella. Give yourself a pat on the back.

(Ella obeys making her classmates laugh)

Teacher: Hattie?

Hattie: (looks at Ella weirdly) What my ethically disoriented and unworthy opponent fails to

realize is Sir Edgar has done a fantastic job. He has driven the ogres out,and he has put giants

and elves to work as laborers and entertainers. Therefore, if it weren't for him, we wouldn't

have today's mthriving free-enterprise system.

Ella: Oh please. It's only free because we've given those poor little creatures up to nothing! It

is like they are metabolically different! So, I say that Edgar is a monster and for that I don't

trust his nephew. It runs in the blood.

Hattie: Hey Ella. That exactly stated what you know - nothing. Prince Char will be a great king

for our kingdom, right girls?

Girls: Yea!

Ella: I don't know if my mentally different opponent based her conclusion on the politics or

based on how she thinks how cute the Prince butt is.

(laughs)

Hattie: What?! Hold it Ella. Admit that you are intellectually impaired and out of your mind.

Ella: I am intellectually impaired and out of my mind.

(Everyone was shocked)

Ella: Well, anyway. In conlusion,

Hattie: Hold your tongue Ella!

(Ella holds her tongue)

Teacher: Ella!

Ella: Sorry, my tongue itches.

(Hattie stares at Ella)

Teacher: If you won't give me a better conclusion I will declare Hattie as the winner.

SCENE 15: Prince Char and Uncle and Heston

(Edgar and Heston will have their number before Char enters)

Char: Do I really have to go this mall opening? (number/sing or dance)



Uncle: Yes. Indeed, you are the inheritron to the throne. It is your responsibility Char, you are a

hot public figure after all.

Char: I know, I am the heir and that would never change. But you are the one in charge!

Uncle: No, it won't last longer. Your coronation is next week so, you need to be out there with

the people. To add some spice in your public figure.

Heston (snake): Indeed. You'll be shaking hands and kissing babies and giving them benefits. You

know.

Uncle: Exactly Heston. By the means of that, people can trust you know.

Char: What's not to trust?

Uncle: Nothing. We just have to be sure. Because honestly Char, while your temporarily

misoriented for school, the kingdom has been under a great disaster. During your absence the

ogress have dislike human and become impossible.

Heston: He's right Char. Even the giants have become more vulnerable this time. We even

thought that they were from the stepping stone!

Char: What? But as far as I know, the giants have always been peaceful.

Uncle: The ogres were peaceful too. But you see, my humble self made a promise to your Father.

That if anything happens to him, I would take care of you and the kingdom. So far, I've kept my

promise, haven't I?

Char: (nods)

Uncle: On the other side, you must keep your promise to the people. Now, let's put on a smile.

And remember.

Uncle and Heston: Image is everything!

SCENE 16: in the plaza together with the people of Frell.

(crowds cheering)

Uncle: Thank you. Thankyou people. It is a pleasure to be here in you wonderful town of Frell.

Crowd: We want Char! We want Char! We want Char!

Uncle: Hold on. And now, it is my great honor to present to you, my nephew. Prince Char.

(Char gets out of the stage and Ella and Areida will enter the other side)

Ella: Say no to ogrecide!

Areida: Stop the giant land grab!

Ella: Say no to ogrecide!

Areida: Stop the giant land grab!

(Olive and Hattie will see Ella and will go near her)



Hattie: Ella! STOP! You are making a scene. This is embarrassing! Go home now!

(Ella looks at Areida)

Ella: Sorry, I have to go home now. (exit)

Areida: Wha-Hey!

Hattie and Olive: I love you Prince Char! (music here)

Crowd: (Screams)

Girl 1: Hey Prince Char! (Char will look at her way) Are you a fast runner?

Char: Runner? Uhm, no. Not really. Why?

Girls: GET HIM!

(They'll chase after Char)

SCENE 17:

(Ella will enter walking on her way home and will bump into Char)

Ella: Hey. Wh-

(Char covers Ella's mouth)

Char: Shhhhhh.

(several running girls will pass by, and Char will release her hold on Ella's mouth)

Ella: Prince Charmont?

Char: Oh, please. Call me Char.

(both of them stands up)

Char: I'm really sorry. You know, crazy girls and all. Adrenaline rush I guess.

Ella: No need to explain. I'm going so forget it!

Char: Wait, come back here.

Ella: Why do you keep on chasing me? Go back to your old business and stuffs. Get all the lands

and destroy our livelihood. That's you business, right?

Char: What? Wait! Come back here!

Ella: (obeys and come back) What?

Char: What's your name?

Ella: (sighs) Ella .. of Frell

Char: Ok. Ella of Frell, don't you know that you are the very first lady who wasn't captivated bymy charms?



Ella: Oh, really? Do you even look charmy? I don't think so. Basically, you need to go back and

accompany your very own fans club.

Char: I do not care about those. Actually, I find it irritating and all.

Ella: Really? So why do I notice that you are trying to seduce me after all?

Char: You do? Oh, I thought I was good at constructing versions of facts.

Ella: Sorry but wasn't able to get this gift from God to neglect it. Oh, wait where's my purse!

Char: Wait there. I will get it. (runs back to get the bag until a vehicle comes the way)

Ella: Prince Charmont! I can't move! Prince Charmont!

(until the vehicle is near them Char will came to save her and they will both lay in the floor)

Char: Are you nuts? You were close!

Ella: Well, I would've. Uhm, excuse me. This is the second time you gave me pain at my back.

Char: Oh, really I am. Next time I will be so considerate in saving you.

Ella: Who told you that there would be a next time, huh?

Char: There's no more?

Ella: As much as I want to. There will be no more.

Char: You know what. You are different from all the girls I know.

Ella: Really? I didn't know that. I'll take it as a compliment anyway.

(Hattie and Olive will come)

Hattie: Ella! Come here!

(Ella obeys)

Hattie: (smiles at the Prince and whispers angrily to Ella) Shouldn't you be home cleaning and

cooking? Stop flirting with him! It's going to be me, whom he'll be dating at the coronation

night.

Ella: Yes. You will be there at the middle of the table biting an apple, right?

Hattie: What? You, go back to the mall with Olive.

Olive: Why me?

(Ella goes out with Olive)

Char: Ella! Ella!

Hattie: Don't bother with her Char. She's nothing. I am all that you want after all, isn't it? I

know everything about you! When we were still living at Lamia, I used to stand by in front of

your castle and wait until you turn your lights of. I am the ideal girl you want. I know it.



Char: (backs off) Kindly tell Ella, we'll see again. (runs away)

Hattie: Really? I'll look forward for it then. (exit)

::CHANGE SCENE; MALL FULL OF STORES::

SCENE 19:

Ella: What do you need?

Hattie: Take that (points out the soap)

Olive: Cool! Let me try! Take that (points out the soap again) And that potion bottle

(Ella takes everything they asked to)

Ella: Okay! Stop! This is enough!

Hattie: Sure thing Ella, but we need one more thing. Take those shoes

Ella: What? Oh, please don't make me do those! I am a non-traditional shopper!

Hattie: Take them

(Ella goes near the shoes and grab them until a soldier see her)

Soldier: Get her! She's a thief.

(So, soldiers ran after her, they ran around the mall)

Soldier: STOP!

(So as Ella did. She stop.)

Soldier: You are under arrest.

SCENE 20: at Ella's house

Olga: I cannot believe this happened! You are a disgrace Ella! I am definitely passionate right

now!

Mandy: No Dame Olga. Maybe someone set her up!

Hattie: Mandy's right mother. Maybe she was forced to do it!

Olga: Really? Then tell me who ordered you to? Tell me who am I to blame.

Hattie: Tell her it was Areida.

Ella: Ar-What? I can't.

Olga: Tell me, I am waiting.

Ella: Areida.

Olga: That twit! How dare she!



*knock-knock* Areida: Ella! Are you there?

Olga: How dare she come! Open the door and tell her you never wanna see her again. Tell her

that you don't want to be friends with her.

Ella and Mandy: But Dame Olga! Please.

Olga: Tell her now!

(So, Ella opens the door and sees Areida, Ella is now teary-eyed)

Areida: Oh, Ella! I'm glad you are alright!

Ella: I never wanna see you again. I'm sorry

Areida: What? I don't understand! We are friends right? Best friends Ella.

Ella: I don't want to be friends with downtrodden. Please, just go. (crying)

(Ella runs to her room)

SCENE 21: in her room

Ella: I have done terrible things before Mandy. I am tired and sick of this curse or gift. This is

the worst. Getting rid of my own bestfriend? That striked me the most.

Mandy: I know Ella. I know.

Ella: Then, I have to do it. I will find Lucinda and she'll take her curse back.

Mandy: That's right Ella. Hold on, stay there. I'll get something, it may help you.

(Mandy will leave and will come back holding a talking book named Benny)

Mandy: Well as you can see, I should have shown you this before. But I am embarrassed.

Ella: Embarassd? Why?

Mandy: As you see, I am not the best fairy in town so I have you to meet my boyfriend, Benny.

Benny: Hey! I'm pleased to meet you! Pleased to meet the very first person again for the past

20 years.

Ella: I have never seen like this before.

Mandy: Yes cause he's the only one. It was an accident, I was trying some spell to trim his hair

but here is the result. He became a process tree carcass!

Ella: So, what is his purpose in joining me?

Mandy: Oh darling he can do a big help for you! Look. Show me where Lucinda is! (Holds the book

and open it. A picture of Lucinda will appear)

Ella: Wow! This is so amazing Benny! You should really come with me. But, what is she doing?

Where is she?



Mandy: Look! Everything is big, so it means Lucinda is in Giant Ville. And by the looks of it, she's

attending a wedding there.

Ella: Benny, we are going to Giant Ville!

Benny: Cool! We are going to Giant Ville! That's adventure!

Olga: (screams from outside) Ella, we have a portrait sitting tomorrow grab us some flowers in

the yard. Get us now!

(music starts here; Ella grabbed some flowers already and left the house)

SCENE 22: Ella and Benny at the forest.

Ella: Okay, Benny. Can you show me the Map of the Forest of Pim.

Benny: Of course.

(open the book and will see the map)

Ella: According to this map, if we'll be taking the route to Monster Rock our journey we'll be

faster half a day. So I guess we'll be ta-

Slannen (dwarf) : Help! Somebody help me!

Ella: I think somebody needs our serious help.

SCENE 23: Slannen is tortured

Ella enters ..

Ella: Who do you think you are to torture this monetarily challenged little elf?

Slannen: Woah! You are discriminating me too much!

Guy 1: Hey. There's a tough lady who wants to share the pain with the elf.

Ella: Don't you know that I have mastered Origami?

Guy 2: The art of folding paper?

Ella: (whispers) Oh geez. I never knew that you guys know it. Darn. I am specially challenged.

Slannen: Don't let them hurt you! Kick his butt!

(Ella kicked the Guy 1's butt)

Slannen: Now rabbit punch. Combo. Kneel. Front-step kick. Dragon-roundhouse kick.

(Ella did everything and the Guy 1 was found dizzy on the floor.)

Guy 3: Let's get out of here men. This girl is nuts!

Guy 2: Yea, let's go! (helps guy 1 stand up and go away)

Slannen: I think I'm gonna puke.



Ella: Oh, let me help you Sir. Are you alright?

Slannen: No, Obviously I am not. By the way, I am Slannen of Pim.

Ella: And I am Ella of Frell, pleased to meet you. If you excuse, I have to go Slannen.

Slannen: But wait, you are going to travel alone? In this forest?

Ella: Obviously yes. I am on a tight schedule so goodbye Slannen.

Slannen: Wait! Have something to eat! I am offering you the hand of friendship, so how I wish

you could give me this as a thank you gift for saving my life earlier. But upon hearing that you

are on a tight schedule makes me feel bad that' I cannot thank you for earlier matters.

Ella: As you speak, we are having dinner tonight, right?

(exit)

SCENE 25: At a restaurant

Ella places Benny in the table

Slannen: So, what is this? Your diary?

Ella: Yes, my diary. So, you couldn't open it.

Slannen: I see. What a big diary to have.

Benny: It is because you are small idiot!

Slannen: What was that?

Ella: Oh that was probably, someone out there. Anyway, why do you hate music?

Slannen: I'm just tired of it. As an elf, we entertain everybody. I grew tired and old of those

dancing and singing and singing and dancing stuffs! Besides, I don't want to be an entertainer. I

want to be a , Oh. Never mind.

Ella: What is it? Go on. Tell me.

Slannen: I want to be a lawyer.

Ella: So, why not pursue your dream?

Slannen: have you forgotten the law made my Sir Edgar?

Ella: Oh. That, no elf should be hired in any other form of job exept from entertaining?

Slannen: (sighs) Exactly. I always want to stand infront of a small court, saying, "Case

dismissed" or

Benny: "I object!"

Slannen: I saw it already Ella! The voice came from the book! I knew it!

Ella: Oh boy.



Slannen: I knew it! A talking book! At least for a moment I knew I wasn't hallucinating or some

sort of craziness!

(band will come and sing a song with "crazy" in the line)

SCENE 26: back at Ella's house

Hattie and Olive, sorting out Ella's things

Mandy: What are you searching at Ella's things?

Olga: Nothing. It's personal. What's that

Mandy: What? (hides the invitation) It's nothing. It's personal.

Olga: (gets the invitation) WHAT? He invited that slave to the grand coronation ball? It can't

be! Girls! Get your gowns and pack your bags, we've got another chance to pull off your future

husband

Hattie: (Gets the invitation and laughs like there's no tomorrow and will eventually faint)

SCENE 27: Ella, Slannen and Benny

Slannen: (holds the book) So you can really show me technically everything huh? You are like a

walking and talking encyclopedia!

Benny: Yes, I know.

Slannen: Except for the walking part.

Ella: Hey Slannen! I've got an idea! You can go to Lamia and have a petition to the Prince topursue your dream and go to Law School!

Slannen: What? I am going to Lamia, all by myself? No way!

Ella: Woah. Hold on, we are going to Giant Ville and Lamia is on the way, so you should give it a

try!

Slannen: The Prince won't entertain elves, trust me.

Ella: I have met Prince Charmon and I think he's different. C'mon!

Slannen: Why? Because he's a hunk?

Ella: No!

Slannen: So, is he a six footer?

Ella: Yea, I guess.

Slannen: Then, I hate him already! I am not going.

Benny: Oh, I see. Lacking courage same with lacking height, huh?

Slannen: COUNT ME IN!SCENE 28: in the Forest



Slannen: We, elves are not vertically challenged! I know that. The myth is just made by a darn

elf and shoemaker story! Do I look small enough to fit in a shoe?

Ella: No, do not worry Slannen, I know you are not a dwarf, you are an elf after all.

Slannen: Does our 'ol brother really know where are we going?

Benny: Hey, I'm here. I can't walk but I am not visually oriented!

Ella: Boys, if we'll not team up, we'll end nothing.

*rustling sounds*

Slannen: I know this scene, rustling always comes before the running and screaming and eating

and boom! Death!

Ella: You are too paranoid Slannen.

(a cat will pass by)

Ella: See, you just put yourself up to nothing.

Benny: Your being a challenge challenged again huh?

Slannen: I am not a coward elf! You'll see!

*walks forward and finds the old cat*

Slannen: Go on dear catty. Get out of there or else you won't have another piece of fish bone

again.

(an ogre will come out)

Ogre Nish: I am out! Now, I don't eat fish bone. I only eat human flesh.

Slannen: Oh, it wasn't meant for you Sir. It was for the rabbit earlier.

Nish: I am not a rabbit, I am an Ogre, Nish. Now, how'd you like to be eaten? Unripe? Boiled?

Half-cooked?

Ella: Free range?

(2 more ogres will come and surround them)

help, you see? I am a pro-ogre.

Nish: Pro-ogre? Huh, I don't get it. Do not worry I am a pro-eater. It won't hurt a lot. I am a

fast eater you know.

Ella: You see, Sir. You are already fat! You should burn that carbs down!

Nish: I am not fat, I am just horizontally gifted.

Ella: Slannen! Slannen! Stop shouting! Please I just want to help!



Nish: Help? From a human? I do not trust humans. Humans, took everything from us. The next

thing is (dramatic voice)

Ogre 2: No Bro. Not this time.

Ogre 3: Nish! Hurry up. I am starving.

Nish: Right. You, Ella of Frell, right into the pot.

Slannen: No! Forget that!

Ella: (turns around) Who are you?

Nish: I am the ogre, Nish. Wait, we had this before right?

Ogre 2 and 3: Right.

Nish: Enough of this games. Now, shut up and don't move.

(by that Ella froze)

SCENE 29: with a large pot in the center

Nish: It isn't boiling yet? Our food looks frozen.

Ogre 2: It won't boil if you'll just look at it.

(They're about to put Ella)

(Char together with his guards came)

Char: Let her go!

(fight between the guards and the ogres begin)

(Char will get Ella and unti her hand)

Char: Untie yourself.

(Ella suddenly move and unties herself. Ella and Char will fight over Nish.)

(Char places his sword against Nish)

Nish: Can't we just talk this over?

Char: Are you one of the monsters who killed my Father?

Nish: King Florian is a very kind leader. We lived in peace during his time. Why would we kill him?

Char: I'll spare your lives today. Go with your friends and find breakfast elsewhere.

(3 ogres will rapidly exit)

SCENE 30:

(Ella unties Slannen and gets Benny)



Char: What in the world are you doing here? With an elf as a protector? Besides, what got into

you? Are you a pro-danger person? Getting yourself be a breakfast for ogres? You are insane.

Ella: You are not my mother to lecture me about things. Go back to your business.

Char: Is that a new way of saying thank you? Then, your welcome. Sincerely welcome.

Ella: Look, I'm sorry. And I thank you. Sincerely.

Char: Okay, accepted. Your welcome.

Ella: Your bleeding.

Char: No, it's just a scratch.

Ella: Well let me hep you with that.

SCENE 31:

(Ella ties a cloth on the Prince's arm)

Char: So, will I be able to live then?

Ella: Yea. Certainly. At least we're odds now.

Char: So, where are you heading?

Ella: To Giants Ville. I have to attend a wedding and meet mu godmother.

Char: Then, let me accompany you.

Ella: No need.

Char: C'mon. So I won't be in a hurry in searching and rescuing you.

Slannen: Tell her to come with us.

Ella: COME WITH US! (smiles)

SCENE 34: in the bar

Ella: Maybe you can get to the bottom of this at the wedding.

Char: Maybe you'll find your godmother.

Slannen: I taught ther were all big and scary. Well, only half of them.

Char: Do you think it's a good idea being here? They always hate the royal family after all.

Ella: Be positive Char.

Giant 1: So, what brings Prince Char here?

Char: Uhm, you know. I would like to have a heart-to-heart talk with the people here.

Ella: He wanted to hear you share feelings and such.



Giant 1: Oh. Then, welcome to Giants Ville Prince Char.

Ella: Uhm, excuse me, can I know where is Lucinda the fairy here?

Giant 1: She's over there, together with the other fairies.

Ella: Thank you so much! I'll be back later Char. Talk to him!

SCENE 35:

Ella: Excuse me, may I know where is Lucinda? Lucinda the fairy.

Fairy 1: She just left an hour ago. Sorry you were not able to catch her up.

Ella: Oh, Thanks. Benny, show me where Lucinda is.

Benny: I think he's walking and flying to ease the dizziness brought by the alcohol. She's drunk!

Ella: What? This can't be. She can be everywhere!

SCENE 36:

Char: I didn't know that things are like this here. First thing I'll do when I'm the king is to help

you guys get your farm back.

Giant 1: Thankyou Prince Char! I'll hold on to your words.

*Ella enters*

Ella: Hi. I'm sorry to interrupt your conversation.

Giant 1: No bother. We just dismissed it. By the way, this is a fine young man you have here.

Ella: He's not fine. I mean mine. I mean , ugh! Never mind! So, have you seen Slannen? We have

to leave, my godmother is out of this area.

Char: You can't leave now. I mean, it's already midnight and you should stay for the party.

Ella: Ok, I'll stay.

Char: I appreciate your kindess Ella. But you don't have to completely stay. I do not want you to

do things you do not want.

Ella: Okay. If you say, then we'll be going. But, thank you for everything Prince Char. I really

thank you.

(turns back)

Char: But, I really wish you could stay.

Ella: (smiles) Uhm, I think a night wouldn't hurt.

Char: So your looking for your godmother Lucinda?

Ella: Yes. She was supposed to be here and now she's no where to be found. I need to find her

because, you know I missed her.



Char: So, have you try searching for the hall of records?

Ella: No, not yet.

Char: We have an every year census for the castle. It's not open to everyone but I guess I can

pull off some strings and let you know some information.

Ella: You don't exactly now how much would it mean to me Char. Thank you again!

Char: Then it is settled, you come with me to Lamia tomorrow.

(Benny will come)

Benny: I have to hide.

Ella: To whom?

Benny: The giants! They want me to sing! I don't sing!

Mr. Koopooduk (giant): So there he is! Our little entertainer!

Ella: Mr. Koopooduk, I know this may sound amusing but my friend Slannen doesn't know how to

sing. Seriously.

Mr. Koopooduk: Well, how about you then?

Ella: Me? Oh please, I couldn't.

Mr. Koopooduk: Oh common!

Ella: (murmurs) Don't say it.

Mr. Koopooduk: SING!

(Ella will sing a song, with back-up singers and complete everything just like a mini-concert)

Giant 2: Louder!

Giant 3: Give it a little more power!

Giant 4: Dance!

*applauses after the song*

SCENE 38: Ella and Char

Ella: I have seen weird couples, huh? You know what, if my sister Hattie will know that I am here

with you she will probably die. She's the president of your fans club you know.

Char: Oh, Hattie! Yes, thank you! Now I know what name to put in my restraining order! Nah,

your still lucky, you have your sisters! My mother passed away before she had any other children

Ella: My mother passed away too.

Char: Hey, you know what? Tomorrow I'm gonna tell my Uncle and ask him to disband the elfin

restrictions. Someday, I want to see Slannen at the court and making his dreams come true!



Ella: (goes near Char) I know your going to be a great king someday.

Char: Thanks. I think my Father would really like you.

SCENE 40:

Tour guide: Next we move to the castle lobby.

Girl 1: I can't believe it! Prince Char walked on this actual floor!

Tour Guide: Ladies! Ladies! Stop kissing the floor now! Act like a lady not those mental

explorers.

Girls: Owwww! We are not insane, we just LOVE Prince Char!

Olive: Show us where Char showers!

Girls: AHAAAAAAHH!

Olive: I bet she takes a bath, naked!

Girls: Kyaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!

Tour Guide: These pictures were recently commissioned in honor of tomorrow's coronation.

*door opens* (girls screams and exclaims) (music here)

(Char and Ella will run until they are saved)

Ella: What are they doing here? Anyway, I didn't make to to rush Char but I really have to find

my grandmother and Slannen too. Where is he?

Char: My uncle send the guards to find him. Calm down Ella, remember you are with the future

king.

(Uncle enters)

Uncle: Char!

Char: Uncle!

Uncle: I've been looking everywhere for you! And who might be this charming lady?

Char: Oh, this is Ella. Ella of Frell. Ella, this is Uncle Edgar and this is his, Heston.

Uncle: So, how was your journey together?

Ella: We had a little interaction with Ogres but Char handled them easily.

Uncle: Woah. You could have been killed. Ah well, I say since the issue is over you have to grin

and bear it.

(Ella grins)

Uncle: And Char, can I excuse you for a moment? You have to meet the crown maker, he have to

see you for the crown fitting.



Char: Sure, I'll follow. I just have to accompany Ella to the hall of records.

Uncle: Yes, sure. Hop in yourselves.

(Ella started to hop and Char followed/ exit)

Uncle: You were right, that girl is interesting.

Heston: I am afraid, she's filling our prince's head new dangerous thoughts.

SCENE 43:

Uncle: So Ella of Frell is your sister?

Hattie: Stepsister actually.

Uncle: Really? So tell me about your sister.

Hattie: What benefit would I get from this?

Heston: What about, keeping your internal organs in, rather than putting them out?

Uncle: Hush down Heston. From now on this girls are our friends. So, how about this, since after

the coronation, the Prince will be needing his queen. I can propose to him the longer living or

the eldest. I can let him marry you, Hattie.

Olive: What? Why not me? I am the best! I suite Prince Char the best here, not Hattie!

Hattie: It is because you are suffering from minimal cranial development and you are also

cosmetically challenged slash U-G-L-Y.

Olive: U-G ?? (tries to pronounce the word but she can't)

Hattie: Forget about it Olive! (so delighted; goes to Edgar) Ella does anything you told her to do.

I don't know why, but she do it all the time. It can't be help.

SCENE 44:

Ella: Lucinda Perriweather, Dun flying Retirement Community for Faeries Lamia Heights. BENNY!

BENNY! We found her!

(Edgar enters the room)

Uncle: Hello Ella! I hope you find everything under you satisfaction, huh?

Ella: Yes. Yes. Thankyou!

Uncle: Good,good.(holds a book and throw it up) Oh, dear. I am uniwuely coordinated aren't I?

Pick it up.(Ella picks it up) Very good. Now touch your toes. (Ella touch her toes)

Ella: Oh, no.

Uncle:Oh, yes. And while you're about it, why don't you pat your head and rub your tummy at the

same time? Now jump up and down.

Ella: Please stop. Please STOP!



Uncle: Wait. Perhaps you know this one.

Put your left foot in, your left foot out, Put your left foot in and shake it all about Shake, shake,

shake,shake, shake, shake Shake your booty, shake your booty. This is fabulous!

Heston: I hate to interrupt your party dance, but, Edgar, potentially good plans, remember?

Uncle: Yes, you're right evil plans first. OK, stop. As you know, tonight is the coronation ball. At

some point,your beloved ,Prince Char will sweep you away to the hall of mirrors. Then, just

before midnight, he will take you by the hand and ask you a question.

Ella: How do you know all this?

Heston: We know everything, my dear.

Uncle: Another thing is that, we are not certain, but we are reasonably sure that at the stroke

of midnight you will take this knife and plunge it through his heart and kill him.

Ella: No! No, l won't!

Uncle: Oh, yes, you will. You will, because l order you to.(Edgar chuckles)

Uncle:Actually, it's lucky you're here,so l won't have to do it myself.

Ella: You'd kill your own nephew?

Uncle: Why not? l killed my own brother.

Ella:What? Why?

Uncle: l want to be king. Now go. Wait. There's one more thing. You will tell no one of this plan.

SCENE 45:

Fairy 1: Can l help you dear?

Ella: l'm looking for Lucinda Perriweather. lt's kind of urgent.

Fairy 1: Sorry. She was kicked out last week.

Ella: Do you know where l could find her?

Fairy 1: I am not interested with her so I don't know where is she.

Ella: You don't understand. lf l don't find her, something terrible's going to happen.

Fairy 1:Finding her is already darn terrible.

SCENE 47: at the tree

Ella: This may sound strange, but there's something l need you to do.

Slannen: You are one freaky chick. (locks Ella onto the tree)

Ella: Listen. l need you to go back into the forest and collect all the elves and giants you can

find.



Slannen: You want me to go back in there?

Ella: Exactly. You'll need all the help you can get. Someone has to get into the castle, find Benny

and keep Char away from Edgar.

Slannen: Why? What's going on?

Ella: l already told you, l can't tell you. But if you don't,you might very well be stuck singing

''Kumbaya'' the rest of your life.

Slannen: Fine! For the dreams of a poor elf like me. lnto the forest of certain death walks

Slannen.

Ella: Thank you.

Slannen: Yeah, whatever.

SCENE 48: BALL. With dancing people and complete music

Heston: Where's your little friend?

Uncle: Yes. She should be here by now.

Char: l don't want to talk about her. (goes near Hattie)

(clears throat)

Hattie: Oh. Hi.(giggles)

Char: Would you... would you care to dance?

Hattie: Not only to dance. I am also romantically challenged right now.

Olive: Are you kidding? That's all she ever talks about.

SCENE 49: at the tree where Ella is found

*thunder sounds and Lucinda falls of the ground*

Lucinda: Ouch! Whoa! What the...? Where am I? A garden? Abandoned place? This isn't the

salad bar at Brelly's.

Ella: Lucinda. Lucinda! Lucinda!

Lucinda: Oh, my goodness. Do l know you, child?

Ella: Ella of Frell. You gave me a gift.

Lucinda: Oh, yes. l remember you. The obedient one.

Ella: l am so happy to see you. l have been looking everywhere for you. l need you to take the gift

back.

Lucinda: Take it back? l don't think so.

Ella: lt's not that l'm not grateful for the gift. l am, really. But because of the gift, l'm about to

do something horrible to this guy l really like and might even love.



Lucinda: Girl, you out of your mind. Everybody loves my gifts. (turns around and about to go)

Ella: Lucinda! Lucinda, l am begging you. l will do anything you ask. Please take it back.

Lucinda: You don't like my gift? Fine. Get rid of it yourself. Don't blame me for your problems.

Did l chain your butt up to this tree, huh?

Ella: Well...

Lucinda: Huh?

Ella: But you...

Lucinda: No. And, in fact, just to prove what a gem l am... l'll unchain you.

Ella: What? No! No!

(unchains Ella)

Lucinda: Aren't l fabulous? Now, look at you. A pretty girl like you should be at the ball.

Ella: What?

Lucinda: Go get down with the prince.

Ella: No, l can't go!(hugs the tree tightly)

Lucinda: Well, not dressed like that.(changes Ella's dress) Now, that's what l'm talking about.

Ella: OK, that hurts.

Lucinda: Give, give, give. You're welcome.

SCENE 50:

Ella came down to the palace and landed on the Prince's arms causing him to let Hattie fall on

the ground.

Char: Ella, we have to talk.

Ella: Oh, Char. Please don't. Tell me you don't want to see me again.

Char: What? I can't? Tell me that you don't love me first, it's like that. Tell me what you feel

towards me

Ella: I love you.

Char: Come with me, I have to show you something.

*they go to the hall of mirrors*

Char: When l was little, my father brought me in here. He told me to look in the mirror and see

myself as a great leader. Somehow, l never could. And then you come along. Hey, Ella, anything

wrong?

Ella: I wish I could tell you. I've always wanted to tell you everything (cries) But I can't Char. I

can't.



Char: Look Ella, the past days were the perfect days for me. I came to know you. I am so

blessed Ella. I am really blessed. Because of that I do not want to end the happy memories that

we can share together. So I am asking you one thing. (kneels down) Ella. Marry me, Ella of Frell.

*clock strikes midnight and Ella won't stop crying*

Ella: No. No. I can't Char!

Char: Why? Family? Politics? What's the matter Ella? We can pull it off. I know we can. (hugs

Ella)

Ella: (will be reminiscing orders she received from the past years of her life while the knife is

still contradicting and is still on Char's back) I wil no longer be obedient. I WILL NO LONGER

BE OBEDIENT!

(Char will see, that Ella holda a knife and leaves the hug. Ella will be sitting on the floor and

smiles thoroughly.)

Ella: I am free. I AM FREE!

Char: You're ... You're trying to kill me?

Uncle: Get her!

Ella: What? No. Wait, I can explain Char! Wait!

(Ella exits leaving Uncle and Char)

Char: I don't get it. She's trying to kill me? Maybe I need to talk to her.

Uncle: No Char. No need. Come on, just take a rest.

SCENE 52:

Benny, Slannen, giants, ogres and elves

Slannen: Now, we just have to find a way on how to intrude to that door.

Benny is inside the trash bin

Benny: HELP! HELP!

Slannen: (opens the bin and gets Benny) What are you doing there?

Benny: It's a long story. But I think Ella's in danger.

Slannen: Show to me where Ella is (opens the book and sees Ella) That Edgar is a monster

indeed. Com'on guys, we need a plan!

SCENE 53:

They are now inside the castle. Saving Ella.

Slannen: Open up. l'm Miss Frell's legal representation.

Guard 1:Her what?



Slannen: Her lawyer, numbskull. lf the gauntlet doesn't fit, you must acquit. Now, open this door

before l sue you for everything you own. Now, move it before I use any passionate expression

against you! Come on! Come on!

(the guard opens the door and will be punched by the ogres)

Slannen: Thank you. Slannen of Pim is not an elf easily drawn into a legal battle and will never be

differently logical, but when faced with a challenge to equality, freedom and civil liberties, this

elf will draw the sword of justice. And, furthermore...

(turns around)

Excuse me, what is going on here?

Ogre 1:Well, can we at least take him to go?

Slannen: Put the nice man down.

Ella: (shouts) Slannen! Slannen!

Slannen: Ella! Ella! Hold on!

*unlocks Ella's door and grabs Benny*

Ella: Show me Edgar. *opens the book* What? He had poisoned the crown? Cm'on guys! We've

got a party to crash!

SCENE 54: at the hall with many audience and the ceremony will start

Uncle: People of Lamia. Today is a very special day for our kingdom. For today you are here to

witness the crowning of a king.(Char will go out of the stage with a lonely expression) Bring in

the crown.

(the crown will be worn to Char)

Ella: DROP THAT CROWN!

Char: Ella?

Uncle: Seize them!

(and the final battle begins)

Soldiers in front of Edgar.

Edgar: Kill her. And anyone who gets in her way.

(talks in the middle of the battle)

Char: (Grabs swords and hand it over to Ella) I cannot believe I am still saving you after all.

Ella: Wait, let me explain. I didn't try to kill you!

Char: What? So you mean that knife you were about to plunge at my back was an early wedding

present?



*on the other side*

Benny: Hello Mandy! HELP!

Mandy: Oh, fairies and all the kings. Let me turn Benny into a human again!

*Benny turns into a human*

Ella: Okay. Maybe I tried to kill you, but that wasn't me! I mean, maybe it was me but that's not

my fault! Then Edgar found out about the curse and ordered me to kill you! Even though I know

I cannot do it, I tried not to. Because whatever may happen, I know that you are the best thing

that had ever happen to me. I know that Char! And (gets closer to Char) the crown he was about

to put in your head, have poison in it!

Char: Edgar's trying to kill me?

Ella: Absolutely, and wait hold on. (kicks and punches the soldiers near them)

Char, there's one more thing. He killed your Father.

Char: What? It can't be true.

Uncle: Of course it isn't true!

(They don't know that Heston is about to bite Char's legs and Ella saw it so she kicked Heston

out of nowhere.)

Char: So, I guess. That explains everything! (go near Edgar) You. You almost ruined this kingdom,

killed my father which is your brother and now kill your nephew? How could you?

Uncle: How could I? He was in my way, when I wanted something so I killed him. He wasn;t fit to

wear this crown, same with you are not fit to wear this crown, because this crown is mine!

(wears the crown)

Char and Ella: Waiit!

Char and Ella will face each other

Char: You saved my life.

Ella: And I guess that makes us even

(close faces)

Hattie: Ella! Ella! Come down. (Ella follows with a smile) You are not about to facially conjoined

him again!

Ella: (shooks head) Wanna bet? (gets the necklace)

(Hattie and Olive will walk out)

Ella and Char facing each other again

Char: Marry me?
