Everyone in Year 6 has got the job they wanted and are very excited about what they are doing. Did you know that they actually taking over the school?
We are in the Office and we are really excited. What we do is answer the phone-calls and do the buzzers and do the newsletter like we are doing now. It is just amazing and it helps you learn more about the Office. Some people think it is boring but it is really fun!

Year 6 Takeover Day Key dates
This week we have been thinking about
how we can ‘Look after the Environment’. Mrs Coekin launched our EDF Switch-Off Fortnight with an energy-saving assembly and Meriel taught us about
everybody doing their bit to help with a verse from Proverbs in the Bible. The Year 6 helpers also led an assembly
about what is on our friendship menus!

Year 3 Pett Level Beach trip
Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising for Children in Need. As a school we raised £453.75 in total, which is fantastic. This included £29 raised by Lola (Y5) selling her homemade badges and £120 raised by Molly (Y1) selling cakes in school and also to family and friends over the weekend. Well done to all who took part!
The total raised in school for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal was £406.88
Thank you also to all who supported the PTA KS2 Disco . A total of £445.80 (before expenses) was raised for PTA funds.
Fundraising Well done to Year 5 who were joint winners in a recent local competition to win a ‘crazy’ Maths lesson at the Hastings Adventure Golf! They had to write letters explaining why they deserved to win the prize. The class will take up their prize in the summer term.
Crazy Maths Competition
Year 3 went to Pett Beach to look at the different types of rocks and hunt for fossils.
Letters will be sent out today regarding Christmas Lunch. Please return forms with payment as soon as possible, but no later than 8th December.
Please drive carefully in the school lay-by. We would appreciate it if cars drove the whole-length of the layby before leaving onto the main road rather than turning into the main road by the KS2 Gate. Thanks for your support.
