The municipal dental clinics are open:Weekdays from 8 am – 3 pmIf your local clinic is closed, the clinic’s answering machine will inform you about the nearest open clinic.

Outside the dental clinics’ opening hours, please contact one of the following:

General dental practitioner

Copenhagen Emergency Clinic If you are in need of emergency dental care - physical attendance re-quired:Oslo Plads 14, 2100 Copenhagen ØThe clinic is open every day from 8 – 9:30 pmSat/Sun and bank holidays also from 10 am – 12 pm.

In case of serious dental injury, kindly contact the emergency telephone helpline 1813

Dental emergency clinic during summer holiday:If in need of emergency dental care during the school summer holidays, the dental clinics have an emergency clinic at Tandklinikken, Brønshøjvej 17, 2700 Brønshøj. For appointment, please call 35 30 21 60, weekdays between 8 am – 2 pm.

PaymentWhen the municipal clinics are closed, the municipal dental care service pays for emergency treatment.

It happens like this:

General dental practitionerRemember that the child’s or youth’s name and cpr-number must be on the bill. This also goes for the receipt you get in case you pay cash.

The bill or receipt must be sent to Tandplejens Administration, Saxogade 61, 2., 1662 Copenhagen V.The municipal dental care service will then pay the dentist – or you if you paid in cash.

Copenhagen Emergency ClinicBring the child’s health card. Then the emergency clinic will send the bill directly to the municipal dental care service.

If you don’t bring the child’s health card you must pay cash at the clinic. The receipt can then be sent toTandplejens Administration, Saxogade 61, 2., 1662 Copenhagen V, who will then reimburse you.

A child has hurt his/her baby teeth?1. Stop any bleeding.2. The dental clinic is contacted if a larger piece has been knocked off, if

the tooth is very loose, if it’s been knocked up into the jaw or if there are problems with biting down normally.

3. A knocked out baby tooth must not be placed into the jaw.
