Prepare for potential emergencies Know your departments plan Assess your area – are you prepared? Remove or secure heavy overhead items Know your evacuation routes (more than one) Know your outdoor assemble area Think through what you should do in:
Earthquake (Drop-Cover-Hold on) Fire or medical emergency (call 9-1-1 with Bldg. #) Run-Hide-Fight situation (Active shooter)

Emergency happens – Now what? Remain Calm! (breath deep, don’t panic) Assess yourself (Am I hurt, bleeding, trapped) Assess immediate area (damage, hazards) Secure area as needed (chemicals, money) Safely Evacuate - if Alarm is sounded Proceed to your build’s evacuation area Check-in with Building Coordinator (green vest) Wait for instructions / All clear signal
