– Smart first launched its Mobile Broadband EV-DO service in November 2008 covering Greater Jakarta area in Indonesia.

– The launch of EV-DO Rev. A services was acknowledged by the Indonesia Museum of Record (MURI) as the first EV-DO network in Indonesia.

– Within a year, Smart expanded EV-DO Rev. A services to over 29 Cities nationwide.

– In January 2010, Smart launch the world’s first EV-DO Rev. B service commercially, again acknowledged by the Indonesia Museum of Record (MURI).

– Today, Smart Mobile broadband offers a wide range variety of EV-DO devices; including USB Dongles, Routers, Netbooks, Smartphones and Blackberry.

– Smart Mobile Broadband Subscribers has grown rapidly, from 5K subs in Q1 2009 to 163K subs in Q1 2010 (2300%).
