The Indian subconnent is a 'hotspot' for emerging zoonoc, drug-resistant & vector-borne pathogens. But we know lile about the key threats. According to reports by Indian Council of Medical Research, Govt. of India, of the 30 new emerging pathogens reported in the past three decades, 60% of these were of zoonoc origin. Lack of awareness, on these emerging infecons has considerable impact on public health cosng developing countries like India significant chunk of its GDP. Through the present conference we plan to disseminate the informaon on emerging microbes & infecon through acve interacve & discussion segments between students, sciensts, clinicians. The conferences will serve microbiologists, clinicians, public health workers, drug & vaccine developers, as well as policy makers by providing them with updated knowledge encompassing emerging microbes & infecons.
