Issues in Data Interpretation
6 month difference in time span of when alumni completed the survey (Jan/July)
Multiple response answers difficult to answer if chosen a range of questions – should have rank ordered them.
Discrepancies in data entry making it harder to analyse e.g. income. Should have provided examples of how to enter responses.
Some questions need banding to analyse e.g. income/ age/ length of time in employment etc.
How are we classifying jobs as graduate jobs other than their self-definition?
Some sections too small sample size to analyse by university – e.g. only 12 in Section D (unemployed).
Thank You!University of Westminster Team
