Life Before Fame

• She was born on April 15, 1990, in Paris, France.

• She grew up in Oxford Shire.

• At the age of 6, she knew she wanted to be an actress.

• She trained at the Oxford Branch of Stage Coach Theatre Arts.

How Emma Became Famous

• She took roles in many plays such as The Happy Prince.

• In September 1995 , she demonstrated her talent by acting at Dragon School.

• She went through eight auditions for a career.

• In 1999, she tried out for the part of Hermione in Harry Potter.

Obstacles She Has Faced

• Even though she wanted to do it, being asked to play Hermione was the scariest, biggest thing that had happened to her.

• She found out that being a movie star is hard work and mostly NOT glamorous.

• She says doing the same scene twenty times or so gets boring.

• She is not a morning person, but has to get up and be in the car by six am.

• She says being famous is scary because “you’re being watched all the time.”

Major Accomplishments

• She got to walk on “The Red Carpet”.

• She starred in Ballet Shoes.

• She starred in The Tale of Desperaux.

• She is still starring in Harry Potter Series.

• She has one real brother named Alex Watson.

• Her parents are divorced.

• She was named after her paternal grandmother.

• Her hair color is naturally blonde.

Other Than An Actor

• She has a career as a model also.

• Had done many charities in “UNICEF”.

• She is a cover girl on famous magazines.

• She is working with “Alberta Ferretti” to make an organic clothing line.

Emma’s Hobbies

• She loves reading the book Remains Of The Day.

• She likes to listen to music.

• She has two cats of her own.

• She took some dance classes for herself.
