Structural unemployment it exist when there is a mismatch

between supply and demand for labour resulting from a structural change in economy

Frictional unemployment unemployment caused by time taken

for labour to move from one job to another is called frictional unemployment

Involuntary unemployment it exist when workers are ready to work

at the prevailing wage rate still they don’t get employment

Voluntary unemployment people who are unwilling to work at the

prevailing wage rate and there are some people who get a continues flow of income from their property or other resources and need not work

Casual unemployment workers on daily contract basis in industrial,

such as constructions ,catering or agriculture, were workers are employed on a day to day basis ,there are chances of casual unemployment occurring due to short-term contracts, which are terminated anytime

Technological unemployment Improvement in methods of production due

to introduction of new machinery ,labour saving devices , etc.., some workers get laid off and replaced by machines. Their unemployment is termed as industrial unemployment

Disguised unemploymentWhen more people are engaged in some activity than the number of person required for that ,this is called disguised unemployment .

Chronic unemployment countries suffer from chronic

unemployment on accept of the vicious circle of poverty, lack of developed resources and their underutilization, high population growth, backward state of technology ,low capital formation etc when unemployment becomes a long-term features of a country it is called chronic unemployment

RURAL UNEMPLOYMENT It is the main problem of the Indian

government. There are two side of problem which has

been discuss follow Seasonal unemployment Disguised unemployment

SEASONAL UNEMPLOYMENT Unemployment that occurs due to

change in season, Happens in India as most are engaged

in agriculture which is a gamble in the monsoon.

Unemployment during certain seasons of the year.

DISGUISED UNEMPLOYMENT When more people are engaged in some

activity than the number of person required for that ,this is called disguised unemployment .

URBAN UNEMPLOYMENT Urban unemployment is that

unemployment which exist in urban areas .It is not only painful at personal level but also at social level .despite this problem the government has not given attention to it
