Employment Opportunity – Client Service Liaison Abbit Management is a fee-based registered investment advisor serving clients throughout the state, with a concentration in West Michigan. Our clients expect a high level of customer service. The Client Service Liaison is a critically important team member who helps us meet those expectations. We are seeking a positive, team-oriented candidate to provide exceptional customer service to our existing client base and potential clients by assisting in all aspects of the client relationship. This is done via phone inquiries, client meetings in the office, and visiting clients offsite. Duties and Responsibilities Include: Build and maintain strong business relationships with all customers and prospective customers through positive client interaction and ongoing client meetings. Serve the basic needs of the clients by reviewing portfolio holdings and rates of return during meetings (by phone or in person). Analyze, problem solve and determine course of action for client inquiries relating to their investments. Support the client by understanding investment markets and economic conditions. Understand purpose and function of investment vehicles, and be able to discuss each one with client in general terms. Maintain complete confidentiality in each transaction and relationship. General Requirements: Periodic travel within West Michigan and infrequently throughout the state. Personality that combines professionalism and friendliness. Well-spoken and comfortable engaging in conversation with a variety of people. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Good communication skills in person, in writing letters and email. Ability to work well with others and also independently. Other Qualifications: Strong computer skills, including Internet. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Basic understanding of financial markets, investment portfolio construction and accounting. Pass a background check. Friendly, positive attitude and outlook. Working Environment: Private windowed office in standalone office building. Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30a-5:00p, no weekends.
