ME4/2 Chambers• Chamber factory is operating reliably

• Chamber production rate ~1/week• Completed 19 chambers (out of 67 needed)• Chambers 211 – 218 in 2 month HV test• Chambers 219 and 220 in assembly area

Final Assembly & Testing• Final Assembly

• Add on-chamber electronics and cables• Assembly going well - ~1-2 days per chamber

• Testing• All CSCs go through a 2-month HV test (up to 4KV –

nominal HV is 3.6 KV)• On-chamber electronics tested -- 14 different tests

including trigger, gas gain, cosmic ray data• Completed 10 chambers – rate limitation is

production, not testing

ME1/1 Electronics I• ME1/1 Test Stand in B904

• 7 prototype DCFEBs have been installed & powered• Prototype LVDB board working fine• Cooling operational• Currents high - - roughly 50 amps per CSC• On-board temperatures ~30 C (reasonable)

• Currently reading DCFEBs using copper skewclear cables and old DMB (can only read 5 boards)

• Reading new TMB boards using optical fibers

ME1/1 Electronics II• DCFEB boards

• Most firmware operational - - currently working on the firmware for ODMB to enable data transfer to ODMB

• FF_EMU ASIC• Currently does not work• Decision to focus effort on backup solution via Cu

• ODMB• Prototype board exists at CERN, needs firmware

• TMB• Received new firmware enabling full functionality
