Maintenance
• Toprotectyourmonitorfrompossibledamage,donotputexcessivepressureontheLCDpanel.Whenmovingyourmoni-tor,grasptheframetolift;donotliftthemonitorbyplacingyourhandorfingersontheLCDpanel.
• Unplugthemonitorifyouarenotgoingtouseitforanextensiveperiodoftime.
• Unplugthemonitorifyouneedtocleanitwithaslightlydampcloth.Thescreenmaybewipedwithadryclothwhenthepowerisoff.However,neveruseorganicsolvent,suchas,alcohol,orammonia-basedliquidstocleanyourmonitor.
• Toavoidtheriskofshockorpermanentdamagetotheset,donotexposethemonitortodust,rain,water,orexcessivemoistureenvironment.
• Ifyourmonitorgetswet,wipeitwithdryclothassoonaspossible.

What is On-Screen Display (OSD)?

Beforeyoustartdisassemblingthemonitorbase,pleasefollowtheinstructionsbelowtoavoidanypossibledamageorinjury.
1. Placethemonitorfacedownonasmoothsurface,takingcaretoavoidscratchingordamagingthescreen.
2. Detachthebasestandawayfromthebasecolumnby:
(1)Useyourfingerstoloosenthescrewlocatedatthebottomofthebase.
(2)Gentlymoveup-and-downtoreleasethelatchthatlocksthebaseandpullthebaseawayfromthebasecolumn.

PowerSensorisauniqueenvironmentallyfriendlytechnologyfromPhilipswhichenablesusertosaveupto80%ofpowerconsumption.InlinewithPhilip’sSenseandSimplicityPromise,thisuserfriendlytechnologyworksforyourightoutoftheboxwithoutanyhardwareorsoftwareinstallation,andwithoutanyuserinterventioninthedefaultmode.
How does it work?
• PowerSensorworksonprincipleoftransmissionandreceptionofharmless“infrared”signalsinordertodetectuser-presence.
