ite song. Thank
you to everyone
who donated the
door prizes and
all the residents
who attended to
make it a memo-

Born and raised in NJ, I spent the first 21 years of my life wondering what pleasure peo-ple found in freezing for half of the year. While waiting one snowy February morning for the bus that would take me to the train that would take me to the World Trade Cen-ter I thought about those lucky enough to live in warmer climes. The commute was just long enough to melt the snow that accumulated while waiting for the bus. The walk from the WTC to the office at Merrill Lynch was just long enough to refreeze melted snow on hat, shoulders, and shoes. No more! Looking like a human popsicle, I walked from the elevator on the 38th floor directly to my boss’ office and turned in my resigna-tion. Two weeks later I was sitting on the beach in Florida wondering why I hadn’t left sooner. Working for McDonnell Douglas at the Kennedy Space center and water skiing sure beat Wall Street and winter. I followed the sun and my career in IT around Florida and made the move to Arizona in 2015 to be near family.

You probably already made a plan that satisfies your retirement income needs and leaves some money
left over. But, have you made a plan that prepares you for not just a rainy day but the rainy day?
Unexpected medical expenses can rain down at any time and flood your retirement plan with over-
whelming debt and stress. Although you can’t control when a rainy day will happen, you can control
how much coverage your umbrella provides.
We can help you create a financial strategy that maximizes your lump sum of money and gives it a pur-
pose. So, if a rainy day does occur, you are prepared.
Contact us today to learn how we can help you enjoy a retirement filled with sunny skies!
80% of all retirement money is in Qualified (Tax Deferred)
funds with RMD requirements. Many times, after your taxes
are paid, the leftover funds become discretionary money. You
don’t need it to live on. Life Insurance is a SAFE MONEY alter-
native that will INCREASE your NET WORTH, provide LONG
TERM CARE, a generous DEATH BENEFIT, CREATE a LEGACY,
FUND a CHARITY, or provide additional income for your retire-
ment.
“Peace of Mind” is knowing you will “Never run out of money
before you run out of time”. Let us show you how you can get
“Market Like” gains without exposure to Market Risk.

Dear Encore Community-
March was the 1 year anniversary of the Encore Club and we had a great time celebrating with food, music, dancing, karao-
ke, and green beer! It was also a busy time of having repairs and warranty work done as well as walking through the com-
munity checking the trails and landscaping and streetscape turnovers.
There are some oak trees in the community that are experiencing leaf drop and it may look like they are not getting any/
enough water. Oak trees are deciduous (they do not lose all of their leaves in the winter), instead, they lose some leaves
and it is usually in spring/summer. It usually happens over a 2-3 week period. If you have an oak tree in front of your home
and it is losing leaves, this is probably normal. If it persists, please let us know and we will take a look.
As this is a busy time of year for visitors, we ask that all residents become familiar with the Encore Club guest policies.
Guests must be accompanied by an owner and complete a waiver, even if just using the tennis, bocce, or pickleball courts.
We want our residents and our guests to have an enjoyable time while at the Encore Club, and that can best be accom-
plished by everyone being familiar with the facility policies and guidelines. Ensuring they are familiar with what ages are
allowed to use the different amenities as well as the children’s hours at the pool avoids the awkwardness and often embar-
rassment when staff or residents make them aware. If you have any questions regarding the facility policies and guidelines,
please be sure to ask a front desk team member or find them online on the community website.
Sincerely,
Michelle Haney
