Meter – technical features

p Active energy and power according to CEI EN 62053-21 Class 1

p Reactive energy and power according to CEI EN 62053-23 Class 2

p Life time: 15 years

p Failure rate less then 0,3%

p Power self consumption less then 2 W

p Suitable for normal environmental conditions: -25° +55°

p Suitable for limit environmental conditions: -40° +70°

p Phase inversion immune

p Daily self diagnostics on the principal components and functions

p Autodetecting and recording of HW e SW with or without network supply

p removal of the meter base

p SW or tariff modification

Page 21: ENEL-Fabio_Borghese

Meter – technical features

p Active and reactive energy load profiles are locally stored

p The programmable sampling is between 1’ e 60’

p With 15’ default value you can store a maximum of 38 day data.

p At the moment reactive load profiles related to residential customers are

stored for technical reasons only

p Label information (nominal and maximum currents and voltages, supplier,

year of revision, type of meter, etc.) and serial number are impressed on the

plate of the meter by means of laser techniques. Bar code also are used to

record these information.

Page 22: ENEL-Fabio_Borghese

Single-phase meter

p Nominal voltage is 230 V;

p Ib= 5 A and Imax= 60 A.

p Circuit breaker with power threshold, electronically programmable

between 0,1kW a 10 kW

Poly-phase meter

p Nominal voltage is 400 V;

p Ib= 5 A and Imax= 60 A.

p TC Polyphase meter: nominal voltage is 400 V; In= 2 A and Imax= 60 A.

p Equipped or not with the circuit breaker (with power threshold,

electronically programmable between 0,1kW a 30kW)

Meter – technical features

LV-C - Main Procedures

p Commissioning of Meters

p Automatic synchronisation of the Static Meters (at least once a day)

p Load Shedding

p Automatic Invoicing (based on a calendar inside the static meter)

p Automatic detection of LV Fault

p Power Quality and Load Profile management

p Remote Software downloading of Static Meter

p Energy balancing
