Quick Start Guide: How to submit an online rebate application

Submitting an online rebate application through the Energy Insight tool is simple! Follow the steps below to submit your rebate. Once submitted, the Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) Integrated Processing Center will review your application and process it for payment.
Before you begin: • Please have ready all the electronic copies of the required documents, such as the Signed
Customer Certification and Permit Form and invoice(s)
Step 1 Visit www.pge.com/tradepro or click here to log into Energy Insight. Enter your login credentials and click Log In.
Step 2 If your company has multiple locations that will either be submitting rebates or receiving payments, you can create new locations to select them in your rebate application. To begin, click on the Locations tab and then click on Create New Location.

Complete the New Location form by giving the location a name you can easily identify and fill Step 3in all the required fields on the page. Click Save when you are finished.
Step 4 To begin the rebate application process, click on the Rebates tab and then click on New Rebate.

There are 5 tabs to the rebate process. On tab 1 , select the Trade Pro location where the Step 5rebate application is originating from and enter the customer’s matching Account number & Service Agreement ID. Next on tab 2, you’ll need to enter the customer's building & vintage type, contact information, and then select where the rebate payment will go.

Step 6 On Tab 3, you can search and add the rebate measures that were installed. Then on tab 4, you will need to upload all the supplemental documents required for each measure.

Finally on tab 5, you can review your rebate application and make edits to any section you Step 7want to revise. When you’re ready, click Submit and the rebate application will be sent to PG&E’s Integrated Processing Center to get processed for payment.
Step 8 Once submitted, your rebate application will update to a Submitted status. To log out of Energy Insight, simply click on your name in the top right hand corner and click Logout.
