The Company raised close to US$ 70 billion issuing 4.27 billion shares

Petrobras capitalization was the largest of its kind ever

held in the world, well above other important offerings

such as RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland) in 2008 (US$ 24,4

billion) and the Agricultural Bank of China also in 2010

(US$ 22,1 billion)

Petrobras celebrates the world’s largest capitalization

With the main projects planned, PETROBRAS will support its

corporate vision

• Petrobras will cut 9% and 10%

energy intensity between 2009

and 2015 in its operations of

Exploration & Production and

Refining, respectively.

• Petrobras will reduce 15 and 8%

the intensity of greenhouse

gases emissions between 2009

to 2015 in its operations of

Exploration & Production and

Refining, respectively.

Energy Efficiency Emissions

Strategic Objectives

Maximize efficiency and minimize the intensity of GHG

emissions, reaching levels of excellence in the Oil & Gas

industry, contributing to business sustainability

Design Performance:

The definition in the concept phase of a new 600 kbpd refinery with

an EII of 81 prevent 1,3 M tons of CO2 emissions, considering a 100

EII baseline.

We plan to invest 340 MMUS$ in the existing system to reduce 1,0 M

tons of CO2 emissions.
