“What’s Happening” Jimmy’s Corner

Good morning/afternoon/evening,

Sr. High has been still been meeting in May per

their request. We met once at The Rock and 3 times at

the church to have some devotional time and games.

Our young adults have been studying multiple

things from scripture including Jeremiah and James.

The topics included were thinking about your purpose

in life and how to look at struggles as opportunities to

grow closer to God.

This is my last newsletter as Liberty Chapel’s

Youth Minister. It’s been a great opportunity serving

Liberty Chapel and I am excited to stay in touch. I will

be praying for the next season of Liberty Chapel’s life

and excited to visit as often as possible. ☺

The Pantry & Closet will be open Monday, June 16, 6-7:30 pm.

& Friday June 20, 9 – 11:00 am

Days and hours for our new food pantry have been set: 3rd Monday of every month 6:00- 7:30 pm and the following Friday of that week, 9:00– 11:00 am. Six to eight volunteers are needed to help each time to meet and greet, set-up and takedown, help carry out food and to help people in other ways. The Clothing Ministries is open at the same times as Bountiful Blessings. This is another much-needed outreach. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please see Pastor Barry.
