1. Turn on the computer monitor and verify that the TJ application is running.

2. From the TJ application, check the drum temperature; it should be between 30°C - 32°C.

3. Verify that the application computer does not indicate any error messages.

Using solvent, printing heads gently from right

to left

Remove the night cover

Order the bridge to maintenance position

via the RTRun software

5. Make sure that the bridge is at the center or on the right side.

6. Select the On button in order to initialize the Machine.

TJ8300 / TJ8500Shutdown: Preparing the Foam Night Cover

Perform the first time only:

The foam night cover has two distinct sides:

The side that covers the inkjet heads is made of foam.

The other side (facing the drum) is made of hard plastic.

1. Cut the polyethylene sleeve to length.

2. Insert the entire length of the foam night cover into the sleeve so as to completely cover it with the polythene.

3. Fold the ends of the polyethylene sleeve towards the back of the night cover and stick it together with adhesive tape.

1. Set the drum to IDLE.

2. Shut off the 48V (from the RT Software main screen).

Place the bottom of the night cover into the ink drain at the bottom of

the bridge.

Using the solvent, clean the heads and

cover them with polyethylenestretch film.

4. From the RTRun application (Main window) click Off.

5. Wait for the bridge to complete its forward movement.

6. Push the bridge, manually, all the way towards the drum.

7. Turn off the printer via the TJ application.

8. Check that the actual temperature is OK.

9. Turn off the computer monitor.

10.Go home.
