AUTOSAR ADAPTIVE PLATFORM –
… paving the way for automated driving.
For us, the AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform is the key to highly automated and connected
driving. The biggest challenges here are functional safety and cyber security, this is why
we focus on safety [WPA3 and FTSAF] and security [FTSEC] aspects in our ongoing
development work for the platform. As Feature Backlog Owner we also head the Safety
working group, where we are constantly driving efforts to verify and validate the
AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform by defining and prioritizing mechanisms for ensuring the
functional safety of future systems.
The AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform (A)
complements the AUTOSAR Classic stan-
dard (C) in the area of highly automated
and connected driving. It also supports
the integration of non-AUTOSAR plat-
forms (N).
