FFW• All people get into arguments from time to

time, but most disagreements do not last for a life time.

• Think about how a long-standing dispute between two people can come to a disastrous end.

• In your notebook, explain in 5 sentences. Be prepared to discuss.

Vocabulary Unit #2 - Take out orange books - Preview words, parts of speech,

and definitions - Set up tonight’s homework

“The Interlopers” Vocabulary • Copy down the following vocabulary into your

notebooks:- Precipitous – steep, sheer- Marauders – raiders; people who take goods by force - Medley – mixture of things not usually found

together- Condolences – expressions of sympathy with a

grieving person’s pain- Languor – lack of vigor; weakness - Succor – relief, aid, assistance
