Dear Editor:
The reason of this letter is just to talk about an issue that most of the students have been concerned about.
The parking lot in the campus is often full. Students have to create new spaces to park in. As an example, the high school students´ parking lot, many of us park in the grass and the cars get dirty. Our demand is for you to improve the actual parking lot and also make it bigger, so we have the space needed and available.
We hope you understand us and attend our demands.

Carnero 2013
Carnero is an event organized for students of first semester. It´s an event were students get to know each other better, also become closer and get confidence between them.
Carnero starts early in the morning, first you do a few activities so you start getting confidence with everybody, then they do different teams, then we introduce ourselves to the rest of the team and later we start playing different games, after a few
hours we have a break so we can have lunch. When lunch time is finished we have to do new teams so we can have our next activity, when the new teams are done we started the next activity that was a rally, all the teams go to their starting point so the rally can start, the rally is formed by six different activities were you practice the team work, when the rally is finished all of the teams get together so Carnero can be finished.
worth living, you would get really dirty and tired, but you would enjoy it a lot, and it will help you a lot to get to know everybody better and it is something that would never forget.

2013
As every year is custom, the students of 5th semester from Tec de Monterrey are starting with preparations for TECMUN 2013, which consist in a simulation of the United Nations where take part students from other schools, assigning them one country. They have to defend and discuss it between all to reach an agreement and solve the problems that are affecting the world peace. Considering the issues, there are no restrictions, since it speaks of any problem that is happening in each country. TECMUN will be held from 24 to 26 October. It is estimated, near of 800 people that they are going to be participating and helping since logistics till the representants of each congress.

Washington D.C
If you are in 3rd semester in high school you can enjoy a trip to the city Washington D.C. The purpose of this trip is to know the government system of the U.S. you will have the opportunity to meet very important people and listening to wonderful speeches and debates. But talking about
politics is not all the deal. In this trip you are going with other 150 students from México and other schools in the U.S. with them you will visit all the city sightseeing and have free time to go wherever you want. As The Close up program is shared with other schools in all the U.S. You will make new friends and have a big time. This trip lasts one week in November, ask Pity for all the information that you need and don’t wait more. Sing up with your friends. You will never forget this experience.
Pre-Season Soccer team

As every year for the past 2 years the pre-season takes place. Every summer from July 12 to July 19 the soccer team goes to Manzanillo to start the season with a very hard work. There are 3 stages every day for 7 days. In the first stage you wake up at 6 am to go to run 10 kilometers at the beach then when that’s over you go to the hotel to get some breakfast an go to sleep if you want.
Then the 2 stage is at 2 pm you go to run another 10 kilometers at the beach. then you get you lunch and relax in the hotel. But then you need to pass to the stage 3 that its at 6 pm there you make some exercises at the sand mountains these is the hardest of all because if you stop you will have to do it again. These 3 stages go on and on until you get to the day 6 that’s the only day
where you have a game with a team from there.

New york City Trip

This is the last trip the students in high school will have, is not an obligatory trip. The vacancy in this trip is limitaded around 160 students. It is realized in the last week of october in the fifth semester. The duration of the trip is one week as Washington’s, but the difference is that the objective of this trip is more like a journey of city sightennings and free time for
student of about half day to go and do whatever they want. Seizing this trip is a very important point because in the city of new york there are lots of things to do. From taking a walk in central park to go to a play in broadway´s theatres. Taking from the opinion from the students this is one of their most amazing trips they have had. This is because you travel with all your Friends. If you are about to take this trip you may ask for recomendations too the people that has already gone. The only recomendation I can give you is to prepare your feet for long long walks and enjoy yourself the most you can.
New Desks By: Nora Peláez
Tec has just acquired some new desks that are arranged to improve communication and to work more fluently in teams. This new desks were introduced in the classrooms because of Tec21 that is an innovative educational model adapted to the new times and the particular characteristics ofyoung people of the 21st century. Tec21 is based on three pillars that are:
•Challenging learning experiences and interactive •Flexibility in the teaching-learning process •Teachers
These new desks will aloud education to reach another level and will create better students, that will know how to communicate during team works instead of letting one person do everybody´s work.

In the tec de monterrey there are currently 8 official sports :
•Soccer •Football •Tenis •Basketball •Cheerleading •Swiming •Rugby •Volleyball
But wich of this 8 sports is the one that has more players? Everybody would think that is soccer because is the most popular game in the world but the team that has more players is football.
They need to be 11 players. The second sport more people is soccer with 36 players .
The third is basketball with 24 Behind basketball is volleyball 19 The fourth is cheerleading 16 Then is tenis that is an individual game but in the tec there are 18 players The swiming team is on the 6 place And last but not least is rugby that it is at last because is a sport that is new at the campus

If you want to start studying at Tec de Monterrey there are a few steps that you should follow. In the first place you have to come to an informational event, in which they will give you information about how is the study at TEC and the date when the admission exams will be applied. Then you should present the admission exam and get a minimum score of 980 in the test.
The third step is to choose in which program you want to study. If you want to get a scholarship you should investigate in which ones you are candidate and do the process that is required to get the scholarship you´ve chosen. Finally you have to get officially inscribed to the campus.
The Day of the death

As every year, El Tec prepares to host the Day of the death. Students from first, third and fifth semester perform daily activities of dead features. This year students from first semester organized the catrinas. For teams choose a person to impersonate any artist, the makeup like a calavera and enter a contest for the most original. Third semester students take care of the dead altars, which resembles historical heroes of Mexico. And finally, fifth semester made literary calaveras about teachers, which also entered a competition to choose the best,
the trouble is that this took place while they were in New York. Children of staff and friends had the opportunity to get candies at each campus buildings and made a creepy night.
