INTRODUCTION We would like to thank you for choosing the A/B/C Series Standard Reverse Osmosis Unit. This is our standard 5-stage filtration unit with optional 6th stage filtration add-on. Our unit has been manufactured to trict quality standards to ensuryou receive the best product possible. This unit is your firts step to cleaner, healthier and better tasting water.

The stages and their functions are outlined below.

First Stage: Spun PP filter: removes lager particles suspended in water.

Second Stage: Granular Carbon Filter: removes organics, chlorine, odors, and turbidity.

Third Stage: Block Carbon Filter: further removes any organics, chlorine, odor, and turbidity.

Fourth Stage: RO Membrane: removes bacteria, heavy metals, dissolved mattern and salinity

Fifth Stage: Inline Carbon Filter (post filter) adjusts the taste of treated water.

Opctional Sixth Stage add-ons include:

Mineralized Ball Filter – reincorporates healthy minerals back in to treated water.

Ultraviolet Sterilizer – Kills any bacteria, virus, or organisms present in water.

BEFORE TOU START

• Read through all instructions before beginning installation and using this system. Follow all steps exactly or risk damaging system/incorrect operation.

• This system contains filters that need to be replaced at certain intervals. Replacement intervals will vary according to use, please contact your local dealer for details.

• Please install system on potable water only. On non-potable water sources, system will not function properly and additional pre-treatment may be needed.

• Ensure source water pressure is between 14.5 – 43.5 psi. If source water pressure exceeds maximum pressure a pressure reduction valve may be needed, consult your local dealer.

• Ensure source water pressure is between 5ºC – 45ºC.System will not function properly if these temperatures are exceeded. DO NOT INSTALL ON HOT WATER SOURCE.

• Do not use system on noticeably contaminated water such raw sewage or well water.

• This unit operaters on 100V-220V power. Please ensure you are using the correct power source.

Unit placement

• The unit can be placed flat or upringth and on top, indise, or under the cabinet. Feed Water connection should be as close as posible to unit. However, if due to space or other limitations, this unit can be placed where it is convenient.

• When choosing a location for the unit, remember to have easy access to cold water line, drain pipe, power outlet, and enough room to change filters.

NOTE: All components and tubing should be located in an area not exposed to freezing temperatures or direct

sunligth Darin Clamp Installation

• Position drain clamp on drain pipe above the drain trap and tighten securely.

• Using the drain clamp as a guide, drill a 6 mm hole, enough for the ¼¨ tubing to pass, through one side of the drain pipe. DO NOT drill through both sides.

• Connect Red Waste Water Tubing from unit to Drain Clamp.

NOTE: When cutting the tubing make clean, square, cuts, failing to do so result in poor connection and posible

leaks.

CAUTION: The lowest point of the should be the point of connetion to the Drain Clamp. There should be no sag in

the line as this may cause excessive noise as the reject water is flowing to drain.

Faucet Installation

• Select a convenient location near sink to place the faucet.• Drill a hole 12mm in diameter in counter top.• Place washers, plates, seals and nuts in order as per diagram and tighten on to counter. • Attach Blue Pure Water tubing to the bottom of faucet and connect tubing to unit.

CAUTION: Check that tubing is connected correctly according to Connection diagram at beginning of section.

Install Pre-Filters

• Remove Pre-Filters from packaging.• Place filters in appropriate housings accorfing to labels and install filter housing from rigth to left in the following order: PP, GAC, CTO.• Tightening housing with wrench provided.

Note: When installing housings make sure housing is level and even to avoid leaking.

Install Tank

• Hand tighten plastic.• Shut-off valve to tank.• Then connect yellow color tubing.

Install RO Membrane Element

NOTE: Before proceeding with membrane element installation, please flush pre-filters thoroughly. (Instructions on

how to perform filter flush provided in next section)

• Remove RO housing cap using wrench.• Remove RO element from packaging.• Insert RO element into housing with the samall doublé O rings facing inward.• Install membrane housing cap and tigthten with wrench provided.

Install Ultraviolet Sterilizer (for the unit with UV Sterilizer)

WARNING!!!

Do not watch the ultraviolet rays emitting out of the UV lamp without protection since they

will cause

serious burn for naked eyes. Unplug the electrical ballast when maintaining the system.

Operation and maintenance

Pre-filter Flushing (initial setup, before installing RO Element)

Prepare system for operation by flushing pre-filters:• Disconnect RO element inlet tuve on element housing cap. Open water main and inlet valve and allow system to run through the 3 pre-filters.• Discard output water into container or drain.• Continue flushing until output water is visibly clean. Reconnect tube.NOTE: Pump and membrane may be severely damaged if system is run without flushing pre-filters. Discard all

water from flush, it is not suitable for use or consumption.

• After flushing pre-filters connect and open all valves.• Wait approximately 2 minutes before opening faucet.• Allow system to flush for firts 10 -15 minutes with faucet open. Do not use water from RO unit at this time.

Flushing the Pressure Tank

• After flushing Pre-Filters, allow the unit to opérate and fill the Pressure Tank.• Tank will take approximately 3.5 hours to fill. Once tank is full, discharge Pressure Tank by leaving faucet open.• One Tank is completely empty, close faucet and allow tank to fill again.

After Pressure Tank has been flushed, the unit is ready for use. After flushing the system is ready to use.

Regular Operation

Once system has been set up and been plugged into a power source, it will operate and begin treating water automatically the faucet is open. Once the faucet is closed, the unit will switch off automatically. After use, the unit will flush automatically if equipped with auto flush function.

Indicator Display and Control Panel for B Series (Optional)

• 5 seconds after power up, then FLUSH will ligth up, unit will automatically flush for 1 minute and 30 sec.• And then enters into the state of producing water, the indicating lamp PUMP will ligth.

• When producing water full, the indicating lamp FULL will ligth, the PUMP indicating lamp extends for 10 seconds and the extinguish. (After water used, enters into the water producing state again).• When water pressure is too low or there is no feed water, an alarm will sound and SOURCE litgh will blink.• When unit has been operating for 7.5 hours continuously, unit will flush automatically for 1 minute and 30 sec.• If the machine longtime working doesn´t stop, the machine alarms and stops automatically, all the indicating lamps are blink . (Note: Please make the machine stop working, examine & repair or Exchange the Membrane.)• If you wish to manually flush the unit, press the Strong Flush buttom

LCD Display and Control Panel for C Series (Optional)• 5 seconds after power up, unit will automatically flush for 1 minute and 30 sec. LED display will show and POWER - FLUSH and display will show current temperature and cartridge change reminder.

• When water pressure is too low or thre is no feed water, an alarm will sound and LCD will show POWER – FLUSH. The TDS display will show.• When the unit operating normally and producing water, the screen will show POWER – WATER PRODUCTING. At the same time, TDS and water temperature will be displayed.

• When Pressure Tank is full, LCD will display POWER – FULL along with TDS.5 sec after tank is full, the unit will flush for 8 sec. When water is used, unit will automatically resume operation.• When unit has been operating for 7.5 hours continuosly, unit will flush automatically for 1 minute and 30 sec.• Each cartridge change reminder indicator contains 5 levels, Each leve lis set for 3 months (de-pending on water usage) and will slowly disappear one level at a time.• When all the levels have disappeared, the indicator will blink and an alarm will sound signal-ing the filter needs tobe changed. To reset the indicator after the filter has be changes hold down the ¨Affirm¨ button. If you wish to manually flush the unit, press the ¨Strong Flush¨ the LCD will show POWER – FLUSH and unit automatically flush for 1 minute and 30 sec, the TDS indicator will count down to zero.

LED Display and control Panel for Y Series (Optional)

• During initial set up, all symbols on front display will ligth up 5 seconds.

• If the ( ) symbol stays on after initial set up and the alarm sounds, then there is either no feed water entering the unit or the feed water pressure is too low.• When Pressure Tank is full, the ( ) symbol will light up and the machine will flush for 8 sec. When water is used, unit will automatically resume operation.

• If the unit is operating normally on initial set up the ( ) will light up and the machine will flush for 90 seconds.• The ( ) symbol shows the approximate usage expectancy of each filter inside the system. When it is time to change a particular filter, the ( ) symbol will blink and alarm will sound. After replacing the filter, reset the unit using the confirmation buttons.

Filter Maintenance

To unsure the unit operates at its aptimum level, routine maintenance is required. The frequency of maintenance depends onthe feed water quality and amount if system usage. The follow are some guidelines for scheduled filter changes, keep in mind the frequency of filter changes may vary. If in doubt, contact your local dealer or service technician.

• Change Spun PP Filter every 6 -12 months or as required.• Change block Carbon Filter every 6 -12 months or as requerid.• Change RO Membrane every 18 -24 months or as required.• Change Inline Carbon Filter every 6 – 12 months or as required.

If you will be away or not using the unit for an extended period of time, please disconnect unit form power supply. If the unit has been shut down and not for an extended period of time, per-form the same flushing procedure as in the initial set up.

Filter Replacement

• Close Feed water Valve.• Close Tank Ball Valve on Pressure Tank.• Open Faucet and drain any remaining water from sytem.• Disconnect quick connect filters.• Replace filters, reconnect, and open valves.• Perform pre-filter flush after filters have been changedNote: Diagrams o how to connect using quick conect fittings can be found in the installation section.

Membrane Replacement

• Close Feed water Valve.• Close Tank Ball Valve on Pressure Tank.• Open Faucet and drain any remaining water from system.• Open membrane housing and remove used membrane.• Follow the same procedure as RO membrane installation to replace • RO membrane.

• Please ensure feed wáter temperatura is over 4ºC. Using wáter below 4ºC can cause ice to form and damage the unit.• Please ensure power source is correct before connecting unit. Incorrect voltaje could result in damage to unit and/or fire hazard.• Do not cause damage to or use unit if the power cord is damaged. Adamaged power cord could cause an electrical shock or fire hazard. If power cord is damaged, unplug and discontinue use immediately.

INTRODUCCIÓN

Esta máquina de osmosis inversa emplea una avanzada tecnología para abastecer agua en apro-piadas condiciones de olor, sabor, y sobre todo seguridad. El corazón de la maquina radica en su gran membrana de osmosis inversa, que cuenta con una precisión de 0.0001 micrones, la cual es capaz de suprimir de manera total las bacterias, metales pesados, sales, productos químicos, medicamentos, calcio y otros malos minerales, así como otras materias indeseables disueltas en el agua del grifo.

Esta máquina de osmosis inversa dispone de 5 etapas de filtración de agua de osmosis inversa. Estas funciones de filtrado se describen a continuación.

• Fases del filtrado:

1ª Etapa: Prefiltro de sedimentos hilado de Polipropileno: Retiene tierra, arena, lodo, sedimentos y partículas de oxidación para obtener un agua más limpia, más clara y con mejor sabor.

2ª Etapa: Filtro de carbón activado granular: Retiene las bacterias, el cloro, olores, y algunos químicos orgánicos.

3ª Etapa: Filtro carbón activado en bloque: Retiene compuestos orgánicos, cloro, olor, sabor, turbidez y partículas suspendidas.

4ª Etapa: Membrana de Osmosis inversa: Elimina microorganismos, (virus, bacterias, hongos, entre otros), sales minerales, químicos y otras partículas disueltas en el agua.

5ª Etapa: Postfiltro de carbón activo en línea (filtro de entrada): Última etapa la cual retiene los olores, y ajusta el sabor ofreciendo un agua con mejor sabor y calidad.

6ª Etapa (opcional): Esterilizador Ultravioleta: Etapa opcional que elimina cualquier bacteria, virus, o microorganismo presente en el agua.

3. Selección del sitio para la instalación de los principales componentes del sistema

• La unidad se puede colocar en posición vertical y debajo del gabinete. La conexión de ali-mentación de agua debe estar lo más cerca posible de la unidad. Sin embargo, si falta de espa-cio u otras limitaciones, esta unidad también puede ser colocada donde crea conveniente.• Al elegir la ubicación para la unidad, recuerde tener fácil acceso a la línea de agua fría, tubo de desagüe, toma de corriente y el suficiente espacio para cambiar los filtros.

NOTA: Todos los componentes y la tubería deben ubicarse en un área no expuesta a bajas temperaturas o luz

directa.

3.1. Grifo: el grifo debe colocarse cerca del fregadero donde el agua se obtiene normal-mente, previendo la comodidad de uso (llenado de jarras, botellas de agua y vasos), y en un área abierta debajo de la llave de agua debajo del fregadero para la fijación del producto y la tubería de drenaje.

Se requiere una superficie plana libre de espacio de unos 5-6 cm de diámetro por encima y por debajo del lugar de instalación. El espesor de la superficie de montaje no debe exceder de 5 / 4¨. Prever el fortalecimiento de las correas en la parte inferior de los sumideros de hierro fundido.

3.2. Unidad . R.O: La unidad puede ser instalada en el lado derecho o izquierdo de la zona de debajo del fregadero o sobre el mueble. Se recomienda el lado derecho por comodidad. La instalación en el sótano es también una opción, en un lugar cerca del lavadero con toma de agua y acceso al de drenaje. El lugar de montaje debe permitir una tolerancia adecuada y la accesibilidad para cambiar los cartuchos.

3.3. Conexión de alimentación de agua: El agua de alimentación de la válvula debe estar situada lo más cerca posible de la unidad. Use solo entrada de agua potable fría. El agua blanda (descalcificada) es más adecuada ya que prolonga la vida de la membrana.

4.3.1. Coloque la abrazadera de drenaje en la tubería de drenaje por encima dela trampilla de desagüe. Deje espacio para la perforación. Apriete con seguridad.

4.3.2. Utilice taladro. Usando el puerto abrazadera como guía, perfore un agujero de 7 / 32¨ en la pared de la tubería de drenaje. NO penetrar en el lado opuesto de la tubería.

4.3.3. Busque el tubo de desagüe de ¼¨.

NOTA: corte el tubo limpiamente sin irregularidades, de no hacerlo podría resultar en una mala conexión y de

posibles fugas.

PRECAUCIÓN: El punto más bajo de la línea debería ser el punto de conexión con, la abrazadera de drenaje. No

debe haber dobleces en la línea ya que puede causar el ruido excesivo cuando el rechazo el agua está fluyendo al

drenaje.

4.4. Instale la válvula del tanque NO ajuste la válvula de aire al tanque de presión, ya vienen ajustada de fábrica. 4.4.1. Enrolle la puerta superior del tanque de presión con cinta de sellado 3 veces.

4.4.2. Fíjate la válvula de arriba del tanque.

4.4.3. Conecte el tubo de la membrana de osmosis a la válvula del tanque.

5.1. Cortar el tubo de plástico según el requisito.

7. INICIACIÓN DEL SISTEMA

1. Abra la válvula de suministro de agua fría y la válvula de alimentación.

2. Abra el grifo. (Tire de la manija negra a la posición abierta).

3. Revise que el sistema no tenga fugas.

4. Después de unos 5 minutos, el agua comienza a gotear por el grifo, deje gotear durante unos 10 minutos, y empujar la palanca a la posición cerrada. Tomará unas 3,5 horas en llenar el tanque en función de la presión del agua local.

NO DEBER AGUA PRODUCIDA EN EL PRIMER TANQUE.

5. Cuando el tanque este lleno (lo sabrá porque dejara de producir agua), desagüe el sistema abriendo el grifo hasta que el agua este totalmente descargada.

6. Tras la descarga completa del agua del tanque de presión, empuje la palanca a la posición cerrada en la llave del grifo, y luego iniciar el proceso de producción de agua de nuevo. Este proceso debe tomar alrededor de 2 a 2.5 horas hasta que esté lleno.

7. Después de que el segundo tanque está lleno, Ya puede disfrutar del agua purificada.

8. Verifique que no hay fugas diariamente durante la primera semana y periódicamente tras la primera semana.

9. Puede que durante la primera semana detecte cierta turbidez blanca en el agua, esto es debi-do a las burbujas de aire, en completamente normal y seguro.

8. MANTENIMIENTO

Para asegurar que la máquina de ósmosis funciona en su nivel óptimo, se requiere manten-imiento rutinario. La frecuencia del mantenimiento dependerá del nivel de uso así como la calidad del agua de entrada. A continuación de informamos sobre los cambios del filtro puede variar. • Prefiltro de sedimentos: según sea necesario o de 3 a 6 meses dependiendo de la calidad del agua cruda y el consumo. • Filtro de carbón granular: 6 a 12 meses• Filtro de carbón activado en bloque: 6 a 12 meses• Membrana de ósmosis inversa: según sea necesario o de 1 a 2 años• Postfiltro carbón activo: 6 a 12 meses.

Si va a estar fuera o no va a utilizar la unidad durante un periodo prolongado de tiempo, por favor desconoce la unidad de la fuente de alimentación. Si la unidad se apaga y no se utiliza durante un período prolongado de tiempo, realice el mismo procedimiento de lavado como en la configuración inicial.

1. Cambio de los cartuchos de filtro.

2. Cambio de membrana

2.1. Cierre la válvula de agua de alimentación.

2.2. Cierre la válvula de bola del tanque.

2.3. Girar el tornillo hexángular, y quítelo.

2.4. Tome la cubierta de la envoltura de la membrana con la llave.

2.5. Saque la membrana de la envoltura de la membrana.

2.6. Coloque la nueva membrana en la carcasa de la membrana.

NOTA: Los filtros y las membranas son consumibles. Su tiempo de reemplazo depende de la calidad del agua

bruta y el consumo de agua. Realice los cambios con la frecuencia de seguridad, así podrá garantizar el funcio-

namiento normal del sistema de ósmosis inversa y la calidad del agua de la salida de agua pura, por lo tanto los

valores arriba expuestos son una sugerencia para su referencia.

9. NOTAS

1. No se realice tirones bruscos de los elementos de sistema, pues podrían producir goteos y daño a la máquina.

2. Hay una válvula de aire en el tanque de presión, Por favor no libere el aire del tanque.

3. NO utilice voltaje inadecuado.
