King Arthur learned about Mordred’s treachery anddecided to go back in England with his men and SirGawain.

The Death of King Arthur

Mordred betrayed King Arthur while he is in France.when he usurped the throne and made people believedthey suffer because of King Arthur’s war battle.

Mordred with his men waited for the arrival of KingArthur’s company and assaulted as they land. SirGawain have been fatally wounded after the battle.

Before Sir Gawain died, he has been able to write aletter for Sir Launcelot to implore him to go back inEngland at once and help King Arthur.

A battle occurred when one of Mordred’s knight had drawn a sword to kill a snake. Mordred had been killed in the battle.

The Death of King Arthur King Arthur agreed to give the land of Cornwall and

Kent to Mordred with a condition to meet him in thefield.

King Arthur had been severely wounded after the battle. He commanded Sir Bedivere to take his Excalibur sword and throw it to the lake

Sir Bedivere hesitated to do King Arthur’s bidding. Sir Bedivere had done three attempts before he threw the sword into the water.

The Death of King Arthur Sir Bedivere told King Arthur what he saw after the

sword is thrown into the water. King Arthur asked SirBedivere to take him at the water side.

King Arthur told Sir Bedivere that he will go to theIsland of Avalon to heal himself and if he did not hearanything of him just pray for his soul.

King Arthur told Sir Bedivere that he is free to do whathe wish because he will now leave him. King Arthursaid I could not trust someone who have no trust in meto Sir Bedivere.

IntroductionKing Arthur immediately came back to England fromFrance after finding out his illegitimate son Mordred hasusurped his throne. A battle between King Arthur andMordred took place which caused Sir Gawain’s death butalso result to Sir Launcelot return in England to help KingArthur.

Rising ActionKing Arthur had agreed to meet Mordred in the field. Abattle occurred which left King Arthur sev. Sir Bediveredid not immediately follow King Arthur’s order and hadinterest on the sword for himself. Sir Bedivere had takenup three attempts before he finally throw the sword in tothe lake.

The Death of King ArthurClimaxSir Bedivere saw an arm hold the sword before it took itinto the lake. A black boat came into view with ladiesaboard in it. Sir Bedivere told King Arthur what he hadsaw upon doing his order.

Falling ActionKing Arthur asked Sir Bedivere to take him near at thelake. A barge and three ladies is already waiting for KingArthur at the water side. King Arthur asked Bedivere toput him into the barge.
