Having traveled to all 7 continents, I’ve had the good

fortune to learn from the people and cultures in 68

countries. As Mohawk welcomes students from around

world, I appreciate the chance to bring our cultures

together. With our college programs in Healthcare,

Technology, Business and more, students from over

70 countries have found Mohawk to be a welcoming

international community and a great place

to learn and live.

– Ron McKerlie, President, Mohawk College

At Mohawk we celebrate cultures through our students,

faculty and staff. With an appreciation for diversity, we've

created a unique international community. Our new

programs, delivered through the Language & Culture

Centre, allow us to adapt to new ways of learning while

welcoming multiple perspectives, experiences and skills.

We look forward to learning more about your culture

while you're learning more about ours.

– Keith Monrose, Dean – International & Partnerships,

Mohawk College

Our welcome is more than a greeting. It’s a promise.

Mohawk graduates acquire the education needed

to pursue their career and life dreams. But education

is just the beginning. In most programs, through labs,

co-op opportunities, internships, and research, Mohawk

students experience hands-on training and are prepared

to put their education to work.

Mohawk maintains connections with over 1000

employers in our region to ensure opportunities are

available for graduates. It's gratifying that our grads

have earned a 94% approval rating, a measure of our

strong employer relationships.

Please read on to discover more about Mohawk!

Welcome homeMore than a school, Mohawk College is a great place to call home.

In our graduate’s words...

“I chose a co-op program at Mohawk after a year of study at

McMaster University. My four co-op terms gave me invaluable

work experience and enabled me to achieve my current

position after graduation.”

International students come to Mohawk for an education. But they get so much more.

Our international students and graduates have shared many stories expressing appreciation

for experiences at Mohawk College. Some talk about their education and the professors who

inspired them; others write about life at Mohawk and the support they received; while others

speak about the great opportunities available both while studying

and after graduation.

Around the world at Mohawk College

Mohawk College offers over 125 programs to 13,000 full time students, 43,000 part time and over 4,000 apprenticeship students. Mohawk welcomes over 1,200 international students annually, representing more than 70 countries, from around the world.

Mohawk College’s catalogue of more than 125 programs allows students to choose from a wide range

of options, from studying the latest in aircraft technology to understanding the beating of the human

heart to learning what it takes to start a new business.

As important as the programs we offer, is how they’re offered. At Mohawk education starts in the

classroom, but preparation for the working world continues through hands-on learning in laboratories

and simulated work environments, through applied research projects, and on co-operative work

placements (often paid positions). The opportunity to combine a college diploma with a university

degree, or to earn both credentials simultaneously, is made possible through the partnership between

Mohawk College and McMaster University. For information on all your options, visit our calendar at
