GREEN CITYORAL PRESENTATION

DEFINITION OF GREEN CITY

GREEN CITY :-A green city is a city that is

environmentally friendly. It is a

city designed with the consideration of the environment and minimalizes

all harmful impacts on the

environment. It is also a sustainable city with a livable

environment, a strong economy

and a social and cultural sense

of community.

SECURITY

Page 4: English oral presentation

Security in a city is very important. Security is key in order to keep the citizens safe and to keep harmful.

Key elements of a city with good security is efficient police force and the cooperation of the citizens.

SECURITY IMPLEMENTATIONS

Regional Terrorism Prevention This program is a phone application to enable citizens to contact any nearby police force or homeland security force nearby if they are in danger or threat.

This program is very useful

as it makes the police force

flexible and efficient without spreading their numbers thin.

WATER MANAGEMENT

Page 7: English oral presentation

Water, the most important resource on Earth. Yet, it is neglected by most of the Humans on this Earth. This city will aim to save

every drop of water, including the ones that rain from the sky.

WATER MANAGEMENT

Storm Water Trenches. Storm water trenches are

trenches dug in between sidewalks, parking lots, anywhere between the soil.

They act as collectors of water when it rains.

WASTE MANAGEMENT

Page 10: English oral presentation

WASTE MANAGING

Envac System A vacuum operated trash or

recycle bin. This can make

streets cleaner without the

burden of overflowing trash

cans or the need of rubbish

trucks to collect the rubbish.

A vacuum operated piping

to transport the trash, makes using electricity with

the Envac system irrelevant.

This makes the Envac System very energy efficient

and very little energy usage.

Example of Envac Recycle bins :

TOURISM REGION

Page 13: English oral presentation

TOURISM ECO TOURISM

• Responsible travel to natural areas that conserves

the environment, sustains the well-being of the local

people

• It’s purpose is to educate travelers, to provide funds

for ecological conservation, to directly benefit the

economic development and political empowerment

of local communities

• Creates job opportunities and a stable income for

the local communities

Example :

Tubo Hotel,

Mexico

HOSPITALITY REGION

Page 15: English oral presentation

HOSPITALITY SECTOR

Hospitality Planning for Low-Class Citizens. A specific community

dedicated to providing and funding homes for low-class or homeless citizens. In return, these people

must work to earn their homes which can in time contribute to the employment and growth of the country

TRANSPORTATION AREA

Page 17: English oral presentation

TRANSPORTATION SECTOR

Multilevel Streets. Separating between the light

vehicles and the heavy vehicles.

Safer situations and more efficient

roads. Environmentally friendly Transportation. Electrical powered transportation.

Solar Powered Transportation.

Page 18: English oral presentation

Hover vehicles using the effect of magnetism.

This enables vehicles to go in much higher speeds and will totally cancel out the friction between the tires of vehicles and the road.

This will hence create smoother vehicle rides, satisfying the populace.

Page 19: English oral presentation

THE HENDO HOVERBOARD. A skateboard that uses the same implementation of using

the magnetism of an item to lift itself up

These hover boards will be an alternative towards people who cannot afford vehicles or prefer small vehicles.

ENERGY MANAGEMENT

Page 21: English oral presentation

ENERGY SECTOR

Solar Power • Solar Panel Smart Grids• Grids made pure of solar

panels. • Environmental friendly towards the Earth• Less dependency on fossil

fuels that might deplete one

day and creates an alternative source of fuel

• Pathway made of solar panels. • This enables more generation

of energy to be made not to

mention both less materials

and less electricity is used.

Page 22: English oral presentation

SOLAR PANEL GRID

Page 23: English oral presentation

Hydroelectric Dams. Environmentally friendly way to

produce electricity. Unlike Solar Panels, where they

are irrelevant during night time,

Hydroelectric Dams work 24/7.

These hydroelectric dams can

produce large amounts of energy

without even releasing a single

greenhouse gas. Running mainly on the rapid

flows of water to generate

energy, it is maintained by

workers. This can also benefit by creating

Job Opportunities.

DISASTER RELIEF SECTOR

Disaster Resilient Plans Disaster Resilient Structures

Double Stairstep Corners• These stairstep corners reduce the potentially dangerous

oscillations caused by high winds.

Tuned Mass Damper• A giant pendulum which swings in the opposite direction of

the sway of the building, preventing it from swaying too far.

Forming Disaster Teams.• Constantly on standby, this assures the safety of citizens

and eases the tense of the community

GREEN BUILDING

Page 28: English oral presentation

GREEN BUILDING

Green Roof System A roof of a building that is

partially or completely covered

with vegetation and a growing

medium, planted over a waterproofing membrane.

This green roof system acts as a

replacement of a drainage

system and is relatively cheaper

than the usual materials used

for a normal roof. It also provides insulation to the

building, which can in turn,

reduce the amount of cooling or

heating systems needed in the

building.

“GREEN” Buildings will also be implemented in certain areas. These buildings are buildings that operates energy efficiently, conserves water, a comfortable, safe and healthy home, and is a durable and maintainable home with

very minimal environmental impacts.
