BeginningsAC/DC is a hard rock band formed in
Sydney Australia in 1973 by Scottish brothers Malcolm and Angus Young.
The first concert was performed the last night of 1973, coinciding with the launch of her single Can I Sit Next To You Girl, whose vocalist was Dave Evans.
From the beginning it made famous their live shows in direct, thanks in part to the extravagant style of lead guitarist, Angus Young, generally dressed in school uniform at concerts.
Etymology or significance of their origin.
Angus and Malcolm Young, thought the idea for the name band, written after of seeing AC/DC "at the bottom of the sewing machine of her sister, Margaret. AC / DC is an abbreviation inEnglish, "AC / DC (alternating current / direct current), indicating that an electric device can connect to the alternate mains and internalling converts it into direct current or continuous. The brothers felt that this name symbolized the energy and power of the live performances, and the name stuck of that way.

The brothers Angus, Malcolm and George Youngborn in Glasgow, Scotland, they moved to Sydney, Australia in mid 1963 with the majority part of his family and his best friend who were based in the majority part of their songs. George was the first to learn to play guitar. He started in the group The Easy beats, successful Australian band in the 1960's. In 1969, he became the first local rock band to have international success with the song "Friday on my mind”. Malcolm then decided to follow in the foot steps of George, playing in the Welsh band named The Velvet Underground (not to beconfused with the velvet underground New York band).

Arrival of Bon Scott In January in 1975, they recorded his first
album (though only for Australia), called High Voltage. It took ten days realized and was based on instrumental songs written by the “Young” brothers, with lyrics written by Scott. After a few months the formation is stabilized: Scott, the Young brothers, the bassist Mark Evans and a drummer Phil Rudd. more Later, that same year, they released the single "It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Want to Rock 'n Roll)" who after became in her anthem. This theme is included on their second album T.N.T which was published only in Australia and New Zeeland. The album featured another classic song, "High Voltage ".
International Succes In 1976, signed an international
contract with "Atlantic Records" and started a European tour, with which they won an invaluable experience playing next to big hard rock, as Kiss, Aerosmith, Styx, Blue Oyster Cult and Cheap Trick.
The group made two others albums in Australia: High voltage (1975) and Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap (1976). The material of both was used to develop the same record High Voltage to the U.S. In the fall of 1977, published Let There Be Rock, another of his badges.

Wright's arrival and the fall commercial (1983-1987)
In May of 1983, the drummer Phil Rudd was replaced by Simon Wright, the reason for the departure of Phil was a fist fight with Malcolm Young. Following this release, see the light in August a new LP: Flick of the Switch, the first album produced by Angus and Malcolm. The album did decline of the commercial status of the group significantly,although it is thought the highly successful rock song, Flick of the Switch. In October 1984, edited '74 jailbreak a miniLP with several unreleased songs and commemorating its 10 year existence.
Renewed popularityWith The Razors Edge (1990),
produced by Bruce Fairbairn, returned, almost 10 years after his first big hit, the top of the lists of sales (77 weeks on the list of 40 of more success in the USA, with 5 million copies sold to date), launched by the success of their single Thunderstruck. The tour of the new album is registered on the album "Live!", the second live double plate Australians.
