BeginningsAC/DC is a hard rock band formed in

Sydney Australia in 1973 by Scottish brothers Malcolm and Angus Young.

The first concert was performed the last night of 1973, coinciding with the launch of her single Can I Sit Next To You Girl, whose vocalist was Dave Evans.

From the beginning it made  famous their live shows in direct, thanks in part to the extravagant style of lead guitarist, Angus Young, generally dressed in school uniform at concerts.

Etymology or significance of their origin.

Angus and Malcolm Young, thought the idea for the name band, written after of seeing AC/DC "at the bottom of the sewing machine of her sister, Margaret. AC / DC is an abbreviation inEnglish, "AC / DC (alternating  current / direct current), indicating that an electric device can connect to the alternate mains and internalling converts it into direct current or continuous. The brothers felt that this name symbolized the energy and power of the live performances, and the name stuck of that way.
